How to make a Collage Masterboard and what I did with mine

I like how you put the ink around the edges of the elements.

I plan to use mine to die cut shapes from. I won't be making them as large as yours, maybe 1/4th the size to get it through my Cuttlebug. But, I think die cut basic shapes out of these collages would make neat bases for embellishments, and even butterflies, birds, other animals, and trees, leaves, flowers, etc from them. I also plan to make them a little thinner, so I can dry emboss them, as well. But I have so many catalog pages, security envelopes, and sheets in my thinner paper 6x6 pads that I don't know what else to do with. Might do a board of each color I can think of, to have plenty to cut from. Cardstock is pretty, but, I'm getting bored with solids, and even regular patterned paper.😏 It is mesmerizing just watching you do this.☺️

Beautiful! I decided to make a master board of cards I’ve received but had no idea what I was doing. So your video really helped. Do you have to use rice paper? I used torn paper on a piece of cardboard , then I put a piece of sheer lace over everything and put down my cards with some stick glue. Then I mixed a little water & my glitter glue together & spread over the top . These cards are thicker than paper & all some have different mediums or just plain color, which makes it not entirely flat in some places! With that be ok once it’s printed and will they be able to even print ? I always have trouble placing my camera for a proper view. It’s my iPhone on a floor tripod that moves in any direction! Yours was the best and easiest video I learned from , thank you , Gail FAVAof4

So a masterboard is just used to make photocopies?!! I understand the texture of rice paper and love it, but can you just make copies on regular cardstock or copy paper to do the same thing? Your projects are always so beautiful❤

I found out that a sheet of copier paper with a line of snail at the top holds the rice paper down, and this alone works better because it allows the rice paper to "wiggle". try it and see what happens..
