In todays upload I make a full custom wiring harness for my 2jz Nat build using ecu master black! #2jz #ecumaster #emublack SUBSCRIBE for weekly videos! Instagram: maxfuller95... Tiktok: www.tiktok.com/@fullersgarage...
One Mistake I Moreftenthannot see is People Using the Pre-Terminated harness and starting from the tip of the wire.... when you're done you are left with already crimped wires that are of uneven lengths to each other. A Great tip (too late now but) would be to Pin the wires you are going to be using into the ECU Master Connector and then running them to their desired locations and snipping them with at least 2-3" extra length to compensate for the Loom.
Awesome video! Very helpful, I have been debating going link or ecu master for a while on my 1jz, but think I am going to go ecu master after watching this 🤌🏼
Hey quick question where can I get a 3.0 2jz ge vvti computer with master key am doing a swap in my e46 bmw bought a engine that came from the states and the computer as on immobilizer so am stuck with crank and no start car...
Currently wiring my 1JZ GTE VVTI into a MK3 supra. and im wondering. where u get this switched power from? and where did you connect the VVTI Solenoid? another question. where did you wire your Injector Grounds to? i also use ECUmaster Black BTW this has helped me alot already. subbed :)
Hi, Switched power comes from many things, mine for example comes from the power feed to the abs pump, you just need to see where there is 12v only when you turn the key. Vvti solenoid on mine goes to aux 3 (but you can also use h-bridge) and other pin to switched 12v. Injector grounds have to be grounded to the block. Thanks for the Sub 🤘🏼
They Max, need to ask a quick question, what sensors did you keep and add, currently labeling my harness but I'm not 100% on what to keep when it comes to the random smaller ones
Hey, I have used both knock sensors, crank sensor, cam sensor, coolant temp sensor on the head, tps, alternator, starter, think that’s it from factory stuff.
Hello mate. I have just bought the emu classic also but wanted to ask u where do the grounds go? The wires from the ecu go to 12v? And the grounds for the sensors and stuff go to the engine block? Or chasis ? Maybe its a noob question but couldnt really find some good info online about that. And dont wanna mess things up. Thnx in advantage
Hi, from the ecu one goes to 12v and another to switched 12v, ecu grounds to chassis, sensors can go to chassis ground, but crank and cam sensors have to go to the sensor ground pin in the ecu
@@MaxFuller thanks alot man I appreciate your message! Now its all clear for me :) Bought a vems ecu second hand and harnes new. just to find out ecu is toast… cost me a lot of money and time so didnt want to mess something up. Lost intresed in the vems and all the headaches. My good friend sold me the classic new in box for a good price. So i can start and finish my project! Thnx alot :-)
@@MaxFuller hey man one more question.. the wiring digram for emu classic doesnt mention a 12v switch wire. So if i understand correctly the 12v from the ecu goes to switch straight away? Do i need to put a fuse in between also? Have some fuse boxes laying around so it will be posible to do.. 🙂
@Max Fuller it looks pretty good. I've been trying to find one that fits my needs. I'm in the process of rewiring my 2jz also with the same ecu and leads. How did you wire upbthe alternator? 2 or 3 wires and to where?
@@damnitdang on the alternator 1 goes to switched power under the dash, other goes to constant 12v at fuse box and the other goes to the dash light output (on my e36 is in x20 plug)
