How to Make a Custom Leather Rifle Sling

Awesome video! Just a question about the sling on your rifle. The deer on the front of it, was that just something you found a picture of and sketched on paper first? Or was it a template?

What length did you go eith on the sling.

Beautiful work, but after seeing the sling you made for yourself at the start of the video, everything else seems anticlimactic.

Where's the padding how come no padding , if you've ever been out in the field with a rifle a suede non-slip padded inside is really nice . It makes all the difference !!! Plus where your thumb hole is you compromised the integrity of the sling ! Those two thin pieces of leather on each side of the thumb hole are going to crack and break first 👎😬 you should have made the sling a lot wider in that area 👎 a broken sling in the field is no Good and the possibility of a beat-up expensive Fire arm , the number one priority is strength and integrity , no matter what your crafting or building 🤓
