I have a sewing machine that’s more of a complicated computer than an actual sewing machine (with an instruction book the same size just to operate it),…aaaaand it’s kinda scary sometimes!🤓). It’s a gift from my brother a couple of years ago, and we (women), know that men (almost in general) are more attracted to electronics and gadgets, and the more buttons and screens, the better!🤓) Now, all I managed to do so far is run the basic straight stitch (that didn’t bunc up thread inside and scream at me)BUT watching this video gave me some hope to actually sew something. So, thank you for showing the measurements and the lines where to stitch, and putting all the steps within a short video (I watched it on mute and the presentation was straight to the point, and long videos show sewing projects only a professional can make). Now, I’m sure it looks easy because you’re here on RU-vid and making it look easy,…but thanks to you now my straight stitch “skills” might actually sew something. Hummmmm,…now it’s to decide the fabric…and I’m thinking bed sheets seem best (more fabric to practice with). Thanks again. 🤓

You may add an internal & external pockets😃

Wow! What an enchanting design, so much so, I intend, with God's help, to try to make one 'by hand', as I don't own a sewing machine. 😂. If you add some more cms or inch’s whatever you deal in,so if you take all the measurements from the start say,add 6inchs around the edge of the bag if the straps are say 6 cms add another 4 if you do that throughout you should be ok,hope this works for you,if not just try again and u will get it.good luck .nellie

This is great! I've been wanting to make a purse customized to my preferences, meaning lots of pockets inside. I would want to add a layer of interfacing between the fabrics, but I think it would only work in the center where you aren't sewing through 4 layers of fabric.
