I really like your method of assembling the card slots. I've seen several different methods and this seems to be the easiest. I learn so much from you and your tutorials. I'm fixing to purchase a few of your PDF's and follow along with your tutorials. Can't wait to get started. Huge fan of yours.
I purchased the pattern, have cut out and dyed my leather. I'm about to start putting it all together. But I'm having a hard time locating the "sqare ring" that you used on the strap. I've searched the hardware section at the usual suppliers with no luck. Probably a hundred different pieces I could use as substitute but none that appeal to me the way the piece you used does. Any way you could provide a link, or offer suggestions on where one could be purchased?
Bob Park's custom leather sells them. They are basically empty paint markers that can be filled with any stain or dye you want to use. It's a simple, but great idea. Makes staining the edges a who lot cleaner and easier. If you'd like to buy some you can email Bob at, hidepounder@gmail.com
Patterns are released at the same time the videos are published. Here's a link to the PDF download: www.fischerworkshops.com/#!/Leather-Notebook-Cover-Pattern-w-Instructions/p/87277137/category=0
I partner with Scalelab (MCN) which provides me with licenses for all my music through www.epidemicsound.com All the music on Epidemic is royalty free and can only be found through their website. So you can't find any of it on itunes or other vendors.
