You two did an amazing job. Hard to believe that was your first time it looks like something purchased from a a company. Did you glue the coco fiber to the background in one sitting or was that several sessions. It seems extremely tedious.
So glad you put this one on how you did the back ground looks like fun. You two are such good partners in DIY projects. Makes me want to try doing one myself. Ellie your hair looks great. I was excited to get the notice of this on a Wednesday it just made the middle of the week sooo much better. Bye for now 🙋 GOD BLESS 💖
It was definitely tedious and took a little bit, but we love having things to work on together 😊 Awww thank you so much! I don't straighten it much anymore, but I miss the straight hair sometimes. I'm glad we could make the middle of your week better, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week! 😊
I've never thought about using a paintbrush. Wouldn't it start to clump/dry in the bristles though? Or I guess you could just buy a large pack of cheap ones 🤔
I built something a little similar to this thanks to your vid! What plants can grow on the walls? I’m considering cutting into it so that it could fit a tiny pot. I don’t think the wall will be thick enough really?
Where did you purchase the tank? That background looks great and I can't believe that it's your first DIY Background. You both work well together. I need to create a tank for a Vampire Crab that my nephew wants for his 12th birthday and your videos are inspirational.
It's the Model 215 from visionproducts.us . They sponsored my video from a couple days ago, but I didn't really have time to go into detail about the background in that video. 😊 And thank you so much! Vampire crabs look so cool. 🥰
Gosh idk where to start. I've got two Leo's I wanna build bioactive backgrounds with 3d naturalistic backgrounds that allows them some arboreal climbing space because they do enjoy climbing and exploring. My leo had to have his tail amputated so I took apart his tank and set him up a 25 gal quarantine setup. He is a big boy but is fine temporarily until he has his mansion set up! And I have a much younger year old gecko I got not too long ago in a quarantine setup too, classic and unattractive, kind of bare min with extra hides because I want him to adjust to the environment first. My leo is 10 years old. He healed up great, I just have had so much happen past few months so haven't started the backgrounds. I need motivation and inspo! I need ELI5 guides too
I'm really wanting to do a 3d with a tall 40 gallon aquarium. Its 12 inch wide though and a little iffy about spraying foam onto the glass. Afraid of getting mold between the foam and glass. Definently would do a false bottom for drainage. Again just iffy about it with concern to mold. Trying to figure out a way to do a 3d with out spraying foam against glass. Any ideas
Good morning Elle, I reeeeally hope you take the time to read this comment. I came across your Top 5 Beginner Lizards video from 2 years ago from a quick youtube search. I was looking for an informative video to compile a list for a facebook group that I run, and your video was number 3 on youtube. I want to ask if you are in facebook? And if so I would love and would be honored if you would join our group. It is nothing like any other reptile facebook group, I can assure you that. It was a group that was started 2 years ago do to the lack of diversity in the herp hobby, and a place where African Americans can feel comfortable and realize that hey I'm not the only person like me who loves reptiles. The community is 6,000+ members strong at this point with members all over the USA and a few countries outside of the country. We have a few big name people known in the hobby in there, but name dropping isn't important because we have a real friendly, community vibe where no one is more important than anyone else. I do not want to talk your head off lol. But I would love to have you be a part of the community. Or I'd love to send you some merch from the group. We go by B.R.O. (Black Reptile Owners) Take care, I am now a subscriber as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment
