I was born in the 60s never even heard of this zoo. I live on the east side of the USA so it could be a west coast thing. Thanks for this. Awesome to learn stuff from around our beautiful country.

I remember as if I would have been there like yesterday... The Xiantu always gave me the tingles. I love that you turned it into a toy with such a cool packaging!

I was a late 60s early 70s kid, never even heard of ugly zoo.

One of the best places on earth, the Ugly Zoo. The xiantu was one of my favourites as well. You really did it justice. Great part selection and paint job! I love the storytelling, the video is fantastic. Should I also be concerned about spores?

Ah! I remember the Ugly Zoo from my childhood. So many classic, WTF moments and... what the eff is it doing in the room?!!! OK. Fun video and fun creature, despite its eerie changeability. I like you using the plastic tree tops for texture.
