if you want more fun get a small light battery and glue it onto it with the wires and stuff. there's basically no control tho

@@justaperception8859 were you able to make it fly? I can’t make it fly even if we’re apparently using the same motor… My guess is that the motors are too heavy for the propellers but I don’t get how it worked for him

Really good project for a proof of concept demo, but a microcontroller could have been added for more control of the flight. An Arduino or NodeMCU could have sufficed.

I used this exact video to make my drone and it worked flawlessly a year ago.🎉 ❗️CAUTION❗️: I SUGGEST TO NOT PLUG WIRES INTO A LAPTOP CHARGER. 2, 12V batteries work fine.😊 P.S. It short circuited the entire house.😢

Facts, I was cringing when I saw this xD That is definitely not the safest way to power your drone. This might be the first drone i've ever seen with a hardwired power connection... Just buy a LI-PO battery for 20 bucks and call it a day.

u can’t, even you use a really powerful motor, a bag of cement is really heavy, but there is really simple engineering for ur idea

Hi , awesome explanation. I tried the same way with 4 dc motor and 4 propellers , but with laptop charger it’s not working . While switch on , it supplies to power and propeller started rotating for 1 sec then immediately stop working . Can you suggest to help us to complete this project ? Really appreciate your inputs ! Thanks !

you should connect the motors in series. or you should try with other charger. buy a 12v charger, it's cheap and less powerful than laptop charger

I used a cutter knife. I place the blade on the point and keep rotating it left and right with my hand until it made it through. You can use a drill bit too
