People ask what I do with my slow stitched art, so I have prepared a video for you showing how to make a fabric book for your slow stitching. This is my favourite way to use my slow stitched pieces.
I like to be able to flip through these books and look at my work. I also like to feel the textures. You’ll see in the video all but one of the fabric landscapes I have stitched for you on this channel. The one I left out is wintery so I’ll add that to a winter themed book one day.
To make a fabric book you can use all felt. You could also leave your edges raw, but what I have done here is hemmed the raw edges to match the edges of the kitchen towel that were already hemmed.
This video is longer than usual but there are quite a few steps involved. I hope you enjoy it and learn something new.
