In a recent zoom class, I was asked how to best tackle thick fabrics such a wool when making fabric covered buttons so that it not only looks tidy but does not have too much bulk. As a plain fabric button - usually of a strong wool - is often used on breeches and some coats in historical costuming, I thought this little video might help.
