We have so much fun making fairy doors! Here's a long detailed tutorial for one of them. You can use a bunch of found material, like twigs, stones, shells, pieces of wood, beads, flowers, and really enjoy putting them together into your own little magical fairy house door.

Detailed step-by-step instructions below:
This tutorial uses materials that you can find at home or can get easily.
You will need:
- Branches in different shapes and sizes
- Hot Glue Gun
- Ice cream sticks
- Beads and trinkets
- Crepe paper
- Corrugated board / old carton
- Glue
- Scissors
Cut a piece of cardboard or corrugated board a little bigger than the ice cream sticks.
Use a hot glue gun to stick ice cream sticks on it, to make a door.
Stick on a bead or stone to make a doorknob. Cut hinges out of gold paper and stick on the side of the door.
You can make different coloured doors by painting the ice-cream sticks.
Choose a thick branch for the base. Using the hot glue gun, attach the base stick to the door.
Arrange sticks around the door and decide on their placement. Cut a piece of corrugated board larger than the door.
Stick the door onto the corrugated. Then use the hot glue gun to attach more sticks around the door.
You can decorate your fairy door with flowers and trinkets. We have punched out paper flowers from crepe paper and stuck them to one of the twigs.
