Great idea to use chain links. I think it would look better if the links were welded in place. I will weld one up with my everlast welder to give it a try. Thanks for the idea.

Got a £2 spinner, removed the bearing and opened it up. Got paper towel and removed all traces of grease or lubriant on the inside of the ball bearings/bearing housing. Rebuilt and now it spins 120+ seconds

Mishy 696 It's actually called a ball "bearing" I skate...and the wheels have them. I suggest ordering them online, or simply go to a skate shop and look for them there. They have different sizes too.

This video does not contain any actual instructions. Important thing to note is that this guy used 14 links and bearing bigger than 22mm (size of most spinners bearings). if you want to use 22mm bearing, you should use only 11 links
