beautiful cake. do you mix the gel colours with water in order to paint or just use it as it is? thanks. I am using wilton gel colours it took me more than two days to dry. 😊

Thank you Katia! 😊 You can mix the gel colours with water but it will take a bit longer to dry. I would recommend mixing the gel colours with clear food grade/edible alcohol (eg: vodka) if possible as it will dry much faster.

Lovely cake. Why not use the veiner from the same plunger cutter? All done at once then.

Thank you Greitcha! It is quicker to use the plunger cutter impression, but I prefer to use a veiner as it gives the leaves a nice realistic finish :)

Greitcha Smith those veiners in the cutter give very amateur results. They look like they were done with a play doh play set. I’ve used them and never happy with the result.
