I can't thank you enough! I am looking for inexpensive crafts I can do in bed. I have been bedridden for two years. This looks inexpensive and amazing. The feeling I get when I create something is wonderful, because I feel so unproductive in bed, I worked so hard when I was working...so it gives me a bit of my self worth back. Thank you :)
Julie Kent Thank you so much! Your comment just made my day. It means so much to me to hear that others are benefiting from my tutorials. I'm so sorry to hear that you are bedridden. I can't imagine how hard that must be. I love that you are keeping yourself busy. I would love to see any of your fairy (or other) creations. If you would like to share pictures, I am on Instagram #untidyartist. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind comment. Happy crafting!
Julie Kent I am also bedridden, most of the time... Crafting has become a constant pleasure in my life, also. I'm just finishing one of these fairies. Check out this wonderful lady, her name is Sonya Stepto.. Gosh, there's so much talent, everywhere !
Im sorry to hear you are bedridden. Have you ever heard of octopus-for-a-preemie? you can do a google search and learn how to do it. they help with the quality of life for preemie babies they are also always looking for baby items blankets and hats they are super easy and cheap to do and ALWAYS appreciated (if your might be looking for something else to do)
I had a lot of people ask why i don't add faces to them. This is a great question! I don't put a face on my fairy dolls because I haven't found a way to do the face that I like better than just leaving them plain. It leaves more to the imagination. With that said, you are welcome to put a face on the doll. I have seen some done with sharpie pens and acrylic paint. It is totally up to you! I use a 3/4 inch size bead that has a 1/8 inch hole. I am in the process of figuring out a few different ways to do wings for the fairy dolls. I will probably do a tutorial just for fairy wings. Watch for it! Thank you for all of your questions and for taking the time to leave a comment. Happy crafting!

THANK YOU for this tutorial! My four year-old daughter loves faries and making crafts, and this is such a wonderful mom-daughter spend time together. Instructions were very easy to follow (especially since I am not crafty at all). We love your videos!
With your tutorial I’ve been making these for years. I ended up lacing her feet with the same color as her blouse so it looks like a ballerina. I also added a string of tiny beads over her head down her back ❤
I've been studying your tutorials for a few days and I just made my first one. My little girl is in awe! Thanks for creating such an easy to follow craft that surely brings joy to others. It certainly brightened our morning!

Emilie, Thank you so much for your excellent tutorial it was so easy to follow. For Christmas this year I am making fairy houses and accessories for my granddaughters. At first, I thought I would purchase the fairies but then I found your excellent tutorial. I just finished my first practice fairy and she is so cute and adorable. My granddaughters are going to be the happiest girls on the planet this year. Thank you again, could not have done it without your help.
I love making the fairy dolls and have made and sold about 100 of them. I especially love coming up with all the different hair styles. Can't wait to try the mermaids.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I made a fairy doll for my mom for Valentine's Day a couple of years ago and she still has it sitting on her dressing-table. She says it's one of her favorite things that I've ever made for her & I've made her MANY, MANY THINGS!
Thank you for this video. I had fun making these. I made a little variation by dying the beads with food coloring. Also, using a curved needle thread monofilament between the shoulders to make ornaments. My first project hung on a baby mobile. My 5 month old niece loved it.
I"ve made several of your dolls as gifts and toys and I always come back to this video to double check materials and measurements. Thank you so much for this!
You make this look so easy . I just started but the wire bending takes more skill than I thought 😆 Edit: I did it!!! It looks really cute for my first one . That was fun. Thank you
Wow - thank you so much for sharing your awesome flower fairies with us. I've made 4 since Tuesday!! Just got done making two tonight. I do my hair a little different but it's working for my girls. I spent 2 hours last night cutting & folding magazine pages to try the paper ornaments. And I loved the glass & paint ornaments and will b trying those. You have wonderful talent and again thank you so much for sharing it.
I am actually in the process of making a tutorial for a Christmas Fairy! I also just finished recording a tutorial for a Fall Sunflower Fairy. Watch for it next week. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment. I love making these and it is so good to know these cute fairies are appreciated. I would love to see a picture of any fairies you make! I am on Instagram. If you post a pic use #untidyartist. Thanks again! Happy crafting!
Your tutorials are awesome! Thank you for sharing! We got a dollhouse for our daughter's birthday but don't have any dolls. I can't wait to make some for her!!
I just made my first flower fairy and had the best time! I added some green leaves as fairy wings and it's the cutest thing! Thank you so much for this tutorial. The best!!
What a great tutorial. I did it, a non-girly with no interest in dolls as a child. I followed your wonderful easy to grip tutorial and one doll is done. I have ordered some material call liquid sheen in the chosen colours, I will be making her dress from scratch. I couldn't help but subscribe to your channel. 😀😀😀 thank you once again. xx
I can't thank you enough for these! I'm planning on redecorating my room with a fairy theme, and I was looking all over the place for the perfect touch! I'm planning on making a bunch of these over a period of time and hanging them around my room!
Unfortunately I have not seen all your videos yet, nor have I read thru all the comments...my apologies...but wanted to let you know that I made these today and I LOVE THEM! I also used the plastic from the middle of the flower as crowns. They look so cute! Thank you for your video
What a beautiful little flower doll. Thank you for sharing your design. I am going to try and make one as I already have all the material required. Sooooo cute.
I had to try this so i finally tried this i must say this is a easy and so cute diy now this is my favorite thing i didin't have the silk flowers but i did have some feathers and they work as well thank you for sharing so awsome diy 😊 (sorry if i spelled something wrong)
I absolutely LOVE your tutorial! I made fairy's for my family for Christmas and they were a HUGE hit! I bought pipe cleaner instead of floral wire (it was cheaper) and it works beautifully.
These are beautiful, thanks for sharing. I made my first fairy yesterday before I had seen this and I like your ideas. I used a pipe cleaner which is ok but I like the idea of the floss to get the skin tone and body suit. I will be making more!
I just made my first 2 dolls! These are so amazing. My little girl loves them, and my oldest daughter wants me to make one into a key chain for her!! I'm sure I speak for many people when I say thank you so much for this tutorial!
Your comment made my day! I love to hear my tutorials are helpful and inspire others to be creative, and definitely when it comes to my fairy dolls! They are so much fun to make! I am in the process of doing a tutorial on a "mini" fairy doll that also might be fun for a key chain. Watch for it in the next month or so. Please tell your daughter that is an AWESOME idea! I would love to see pics of your fairies! If you happen to take any pictures and would like to post them on instagram be sure to include to hashtag #untidyartist . Thanks again!

Thanks so much for this! I've been using pipe cleaners and struggling to cover up the fuzz; the wire will be much better. I love that you've given measurements. I've subscribed and will be watching your other videos. Thanks again.
Have made four of these with similar types of material, but not exactly, and they turned out great. I agree that the hair can be difficult, especially curly hair, but I think I did okay with it. Thanks for the super tutorial. My fairies are being sent out to my 5 year old granddaughter for her birthday. Think she'll love them.
I love your dolls thanks hun so much for taking time to do this . I'm not well and don't leave the house but I've been crafting along time and never seen anything like this . your a great teacher so easy to follow your videos can't wait to see what is next in your doll adventures happy new years Emilie!!!!!

Grandpa made a dollhouse for our grandchild, she’s finally old enough for it this Christmas, so i think these dolls will be perfect! Wish me luck ? Thank you
Amazing, my friend told me about this today, I'm so glad she did. I'm hooked. Can't wait to get started. Purchased everything today. :) Thank you for sharing this wonderful tutorial.
THANK YOU!!!!!! Your video is great! It's clean, concise and easy to follow. This is exactly what I was looking for. (Although I am using flesh tone pipe cleaners because I need my fairies to be smaller than yours) my biggest issue was trying to figure out the hair attachment, your solution is perfect!
Mind blowing things u make..how beautifully u design evry thing..i have becum a grt fan of u.Hats off to u mam.I love ur design's of paper quilling work.God bless u.
Hi, I accidentally came across your tutorial and am amazed! I want to thank you for sharing your craft and teaching others such as myself. I am in love with your dolls! I have subscribed. I can't wait until my cast comes off, I have a broken wrist from a horrific car accident. Thank you again, you have gained a new fan and follower.
Me too, I went and bought all the materials I need to make a few fairies. Now all I need is my wrist to heal. My granddaughters are going to go crazy over these.
Thank you so much for these tutorials! Me and my best friend are in the process of starting our own fantasy-themed crafting business, and your projects have been a huge inspiration for me. I just bought the materials for my own 'trial run' dolls, so hopefully mine will look at least half as nice as yours ^^;
