@@janewamsley9706 I’m with you Jane. I enjoy a variety of hobbies and crafts. I haven’t tried quilt tops yet, but I know the expert quilters have techniques that make it much easier to do now than it used to be. I’ve collected a few old quilts. I’d like to make at least one, probably a small one!
Yayyyyy! I'm so very happy you started to craft, you will have many hours of watching, doing, inventing things yourself too. Crafting is so peaceful and rewarding. Don't forget to show what you make so we can share in your newfound joy! 🌹
Can't believe how luck we are to have such a generous friend who shares her knowledge with us for free. How hard it is to chose a favorite, but I think it would be the pee-a- boo with contrasting colors! This video is a keeper. Please don't ever take it down.
My wife LOVES watching your videos...as a matter of fact she is trying her first one soon. A 4th of July wreath for our Aunt's 71st birthday~she's gonna LOVE IT!!!💐
Ive made all of your petals and my favourite is the 21” lollipop 🌸 flower. You are the best teacher and designer out there, no crap talk, no self promotion or belittling and the outcome from using wreath frames is both classy and beautiful. No one wants cheap and nasty lol. Love your work 🌸🌸🌺🌸🌸
Maybe you do not realize that a lot of these you tubers out here do a bit of self promotional speech in their videos as a means of making a living. There are real people behind these channels, and they promote themselves in order to pay their bills. If you were a business owner, would you not promote yourself?
Captain obvious...a good product sells itself without all the BS. I do have a business, it’s very successful. Sell your product not yourself. My opinion so less of your rudeness please. 🌸
This is the best tutorial yet! 🌹Brings me back to all the wreath making adventures inspired AND taught by you! I need to try mixing it up with combination of petals in same wreath. Going to make a large spring flower with a bunny butt in the center like he's diving for cover in my garden!
Thanks for sharing your talent, Julie!😊 For newbies in this craft like me, this tutorial is a wealth of information. You are one of my go-to resource and I truly appreciate the tutorials you upload. I’m very much interested in learning the craft and sharing it here in my country , the Philippines. May God continue to bless the works of your hands. God bless.🙏🏼
Love them all💕just started making wreaths about a year ago and couple angels thanks to your videos. I have everything I need to make a flower but just can't make up my mind on what kind of petals I want. Thanks for the videos, I learned a lot 🥰
You are such a blessing to each of us and an example of a daughter who is pleasing to God. Thanks for your teachings and sharing your blessings with us!!
🌷Thank you Julie for putting together this video showing all the different petals. Very helpful to a newbie like me! This makes me want to try them all.
Julie I can listen to you all day long. I'm obsessed with your tutorials. I love your voice and your teaching technique. I watched hours of your videos over the weekend. Thank you for all you do. You are a very talented & special lady. God bless.
I really appreciate that you have taken the time to show us how to make all these petal designs. I've been sick for so long thought nothing would interest me again but your wreath making has! God Bless you and yours. Thank you so much for your time!
Hi Julie, Just wanted to say, I've watched many of the other crafters and their tutorials and I feel I have learned the most from you. I've even purchased two of your tutorials through Etsy. As I am new to this type of wreath making, I have watched this particular one at 3/4 times, you have a real knack for teaching and explaining, which is hard to do, because you are basicly talking to yourself. Thank you for sharing and thank you for teaching these amazing techniques!
Wow, another hobby I want to become obsessed with! I quilt, quill, make flowers out of ribbon, paper, etc., paint, cake decorate, and a whole host of other crafts. I need to buy a house just for my crafting!
Love your tutorials… too many favorite petals… two-toned and bardic/Daisy combo. I made the poinsettia wreath and I get WOW comments all the time! Thank you for sharing your skills!❤❤
I just started making the cross wreaths for Easter of 2024. Didn’t think I’d be able to do them as I have arthritic fingers! But has been pretty easy! Thank you for all your tutorials. You are the best teacher❤
I am a retired Florist and miss my flowers...this tutorial has opened up a whole new avenue for creating beautiful flowers! Thank you so very much!! I want to try them all but my favorite is always the sunflower 🌻 💛
🌹 currently trying the carrot!! So excited to try a basic petal wreath after the carrot. Thank you so much for sharing these incredibly helpful tutorials! You've opened so many options up for me - which I've needed. Been feeling uninspired doing my regular projects that everyone loves. Excited for fresh new projects for me!!
hi Julie, this is exactly what I needed. Thank you! I’m making a seascape with left over Easter egg frames and a shelf I never hung. . It’s all my own design, and I want waves and sky and sea, etc. . After watching this video my folds arsenal is full and I’m ready. I can’t wait for the mesh to get here. I will post and tag you with my seascape in the FB Wreath Creators group when I’m finished. 🌸🌸🌸You’re the best.
I really like them all, so i will watch the video again and decide which one or ones i want to do to make my petal flower wreath. How you show them is great. Thank you very much. 🌻🌼🌺🤩
Julie’s fused fused petal technique is my favorite, however all of petals are beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It has been very helpful.
I liked the Daisy.,❤️ I'm going to get the materials to make that wreath in remembrance of my mom who passed on Feb 2020 out of congestive heart failure, HBP and second hand smoking effects from my daddy back in the day ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
🌸 doing a Daisy wreath for a craft night with the girls making myself a red white and blue wreath for all the patriotic holidays. Only issue can't use for Memorial Day this weekend. Can't take down my carrot wreath yet have a nest with 4 baby birds that just hatched in it. Never made wreaths before till I saw you're carrot one. I think I'm hooked. Needed new hobby that works up faster than my crochet and love these end products. Have a super weekend🌺🌻
🌺 thanks for the information, I made a wreath that frayed on the cut edges. Glad you gave me a the idea to use a wood burner to cut. Can’t wait to start my next wreath
I really love all your flowers so I am already trying some, it’s impossible to choose only on.thank you for your tutorial a God bless you for explaining everything in such an easy detail,
I love them all. Trying to decide which I will use on my first one...wreath for my first home. Life begins again after 22y marriage is over! It's a good thing. White flower brown center.
Julie your demo videos are so helpful. My neighbors really appreciate your guidance. We are making sunflower wreaths next. I am getting different centers fixed for them so the wreath building can happen in 1 meeting. 🌻
🌼 for my little girls room. I'm adapting it to a 2" center with 4-5" petals. I'm making several in different colors. All will have the same center and leaf fabric. She has a quilt set from Pottery Barn Kids that is also named Daisy Garden. You explain things so well. I'm late to the game but I've enjoyed watching your technique and learning as I go. Much preferred over my normal trial and error. My next wreath will be the magnolia as I live in Mississippi and that's our state flower.
Julie, I was so HAPPY to see such AMAZING peddles out of different DECO MESH THAT I WANT TO TRIED EVERYONE. I WAS AMAZED THAT THERE WAS SO MANY WAYS THAT YOU CAN DO WITH A PIECE OF 10 INCHES OF MESH THAT YOU HAD MY EYES ON EVERYTHING YOU SHOWED US. I USUALLY DON'T WATCH A VIDEO TILL THE END BECAUSE I LOSE INTEREST IN THE VIDEO. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I TURNED ON THE VIDEO TODAY BECAUSE I AM SO DOWN AND DEPRESSED, SITTING IN THIS HOUSE AND I JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THE WREATH, BECAUSE I STOPPED WATCHING THEM MAKING WREATHS. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY TODAY TO WATCH THE MAKING OF THE WREATHS, IT TAKES THEM A HOUR TO START BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY HAVE PEOPLE WATCHING THEM AND THEN THEY HAVE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND CAN YOU HEAR ME AND SEE ME. OH DEAR GOD I REFUSE TO WATCH THIS. WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO BEFORE. SORRY BUT I REFUSED TO WATCH THE STUPIDITY OF THIS STUFF. HOW DID THEY DO IT BEFORE COMPUTER AND CELL PHONES. BELIEVE ME I USE ALL THESE THINGS BUT THEY ARE RIDICULOUS. I LOVE WATCHING JUST A FEW THAT DON'T WAIT TO HAVE 50 PEOPLE WATCHING THEM. THERE IS A VERY FEW AND THEY HAVE MORE PEOPLE WATCHING THEM. SORRY FOR THE LACK OF THE INTERNET BUT REALLY DO YOU EVER WATCH THEM. I KNOW I AM GOING TO PISS OFF A FEW PEOPLE BUT REALLY WATCH THEM AND THERE'S ONE PERSON THAT JUST SITS THERE UNTIL SHE HAS 100 PEOPLE WATCHING AND I SIT HERE AND LAUGH MY ASS OFF BECAUSE SHE LOOKS SO STUPID BUT SHE DOES MAKE BEAUTIFUL THINGS BUT I LOVE WHAT YOU HAVE SHOWN US. SO HAPPY THAT YOU WERE NOT WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO COME ON. SORRY FOR VENTING BUT THEY GOT ME TO A POINT OF STOP WATCHING THEM, BUT YOU'RE WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND INTERESTING. GOD BLESS, STAY SAFE AND I AM GOING TO YOUR CHANNEL TO WATCH MORE. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS.
Thank you for watching. I can appreciate the fact that live and streamed videos can be difficult to follow, no need to apologize for that. I do my best to give clear and concise instructions, I’m a visual learner so I try to teach how I would need to learn. You stay safe as well 😉
I now have every item I need to make a wreath. Now to find the time to take everything out of the bags and get to it. I’m going on 70 and it’s never to late!!
Thank you for making this video. I have never thought to make a wreath but after seeing all the different petals I really want to make one for my daughter who passed away. I have Sunflowers all around her grave and this would be such a great addition. Thanks for sharing your talent. 🌻
Thank You for all of the Creative Sharing! I have totally enjoyed your flowers creations ! I will watch it again a couple of times, I am a visual and hands on leaner. I also get lots of ideas once I see something done !!! My own thoughts are great added to creations Others have made! I Thank God The Greatest Creator of Us all and his Jesus Christ! Amen 🙏🏾
Am so happy to have found your tutorials, I'm 64 and I think I have found an exciting new hobby! Thank you!! Difficult to get the materials here in the UK though...
🌻🌷I love the two toned daisy petal. I haven’t made a flower wreath before, however you have inspired me to try it. I love all of your petal techniques. Thank you for this tutorial
This video was very helpful in many ways. Thank you for sharing your techniques, very informative. I really like the two tone with the lighter mesh (plaid), purple and pink. Red sunflower.
These are all so amazing and you make it look so easy. I will have to watch this video and your other ones several times to figure out which ones I want to try first. Thank you so much for sharing. 🌻🌹
I did the beige and white trim farmhouse wreath like yours. That was my first petal wreath. I got it finished, but should not have started out on a more difficult wreath for the first time. Now I’m going to try the lollipop petal wreath. Your videos are awesome. I learn so much from them. You go slow, and I especially like the tutorials filmed from above facing down while you are making wreaths. It is easier to see what you are doing. You are very talented.
Awesome... you are incredible... the instructions are so easy to follow. I still love the sunflower! And I never knew about cutting and fusing with the wood burner. THANK YOU so much for sharing.... 🌸
🌻 My favorite is the sunflower wreath. I love all of your wreaths but sunflowers are my favorite. I love your tutorials because you explain everything so well. I'm excited to learn how to make some of these petals.
🌺 tfs I haven't decided for sure which petal technique I'm going to use, but I'm leaning to make the yellow sunflower with a purple center for my youngest daughter. She loves those two colors together.
Julie, I love your Tutorials and thank you for your easy to follow and down to earth kind and relatable persality! I made my first Flower wreath and it turned out beautiful! A gift for my Aunt!! ❤❤
I'm likely going to be trying all of these. Spring is just around the corner and the flowers will sell like hotcakes. Thank you for making such an easy to follow video on all the different petal types.🌻
