I loved making this card. I started a card making club with some ladies from my Church. We share different techniques and ideas, each taking a turn. My card last week was this fun fold card. It was super easy and we had a lot of fun coming up with different ideas for future cards. Thank you.
Thankyou for the idea. I followed along and tried it using the bird of paradise paper and made a nice masculine looking card that would be great for Father's Day next year! Enjoyed the technique. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing another of your creative ideas, Lisa. Just finished watching the replay. They are both lovely but the one with the stamped flower in the middle is my favourite. I will give it a try.
I've just found your videos on RU-vid. I am relatively new to cardmaking and have been watching videos to give me inspiration. You have a great teaching techniq and I'm excited to try some of the cards. Your instructions are so clear and the tips you give much appreciated.
Hi Lisa, loved both cards, they are so different, each to the other. Not seen this fold before- there's always someone who hasn't seen things before lol, thankyou for sharing.
I am so glad to have found your videos for fun cards! I love making interactive or special folds cards and find your ideas very inspiring. Helps get my mojo going during the quarantine... thank you so much!
That frame is simply elegant. I love both frames but the turtle on its back card is just so sweet I like that one the best. Also the colours pop on both. 🌸😊🇦🇺
Beautiful cards. The one with the turtle is a cute surprise. I have that stamp set and am going to have to give this a try. Thank you for the inspiration.
I love the get well card with the turtle. It is just that the colors used in that card were very pleasing to my eye. Lisa, you are the best. I’m fairly new at this but you made it look like I could do it. Thanks!
I have made a couple of those types of "frames" before but I love the idea of adding the dimensionals to hold the folds in place. I still have one of those cards here and have now added the dimensionals.
I can't wait to try this,. I have done this fold before, but not with the dimensionals. Looks like they would add some depth to it. And I even have the papers+
Lisa, these are the cutest cards! If I HAD to pick....... Would be the diagonal card! Am a BIG fan of the darker cardstock! Hugs my crafty Sister XOXOXO
I love this fold Lisa and prefer the first card. I think I’ll make it as a golf themed card for my husband’s birthday. I’ll use the argyle pattern DSP for the fold and put a golf photo of my husband inside. The top card layer will be embossed with argyle pattern. I’ll send you a photo when it’s done. Your videos are my favourite. Good luck with your move! Sarah Kennedy, Canada
Lisa, I really like this technique, and I am in the process of making nine of these cards for homebound parishioners from our church. Even though I am placing my dimensionals as you suggested, some of the DSP is coming loose and popping up. I have added a third dimensional along the inside fold, but it isn't holding the paper down.
Lisa I really love today’s cards I think they are both gorgeous. After seeing the 1st the floral one I thought I could make and send to my granddaughter a beautiful card for a beautiful young lady and then you showed us the 2nd card it’s so good. I could do this for a grandson in a couple of weeks Thank you for showing us how to make these cards. You also gave me some tips for using the Scoring Board I have a tremor in my hands and have problems using the Scoring Pen but I thing you may have helped with using your method. Thank you..........Corinne.
Hi from Indiana! I love this design, Lisa! You always come up with the best things! I think I like the first one the best with the flower. But the turtle is adorable as well.
Hi Lisa, I love both of these cards and I don’t know which one I would pick to be my favourite but I’m going to pick the turtle card because I’m an animal lover
I have never seen anything like this. I love it and will have to give it a try. The flowered one is my favorite, and I have that stamp set and the DSP.
