hi so I made the cuff, it looks good laying flat on the table but when I put it on it flops down. I've been looking up pictures to see how it is suppose to look like but I haven't found any. Is it suppose to be stiff, and if so how can you achieve that? Lol I thought I pulled the string tightly but I don't know lol. HELP! >_< thanks!

+Ashley Spencer It's supposed to be very floppy. I wear them on my wrists before all the other bracelets so they look like ruffled sleeves. lol

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I know this video was made 6 years ago, but would you happen to know where I can find the beads you used for this tutorial or what they are called? I love how it makes a soft pastel color that mixes like an actual galaxy.

They are a mix of glow in the dark beads ordered on Amazon I believe. The bead manufacturer is The Beadery. You should be able to find these wherever their products are sold.

What elastic stretch cord do you use? Love the galaxy cuff BTW! :)
@GingerCandE
@GingerCandE 9 лет назад
Cassie Ballard For the thick elastic I use 1.5mm fabric covered elastic from michaels or hobby lobby. For thinner elastic I use a .7mm fabric covered elastic from the same places and walmart. I like the fabric elastic over the bead n stretch or stretch magic because when the elastic wears down over time it doesn't just snap. The fabric continues to hold it together.

How much string do you need?

Citlali Aguilar I'll guess at a yard or a yard and a half but I'm not entirely sure.
