A generator is a device that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. In this video check how a DC Motor can be converted into a Generator to produce the electrical energy.
This can be used to glow the LED light and also it can be used to charge mobile with small alterations.

no, you cant use a pony instead of a rubber band. ponies are horses, not elastic material.

Sarvendran Sukumar it maters how fast it's moving if it's moving faster you might need a battery bank but if you hook up a solenoid engine up to it yeah it'll work

This is fake because If we spin the many times continuously then the led will glow by giving less light. So, in this he spin only 2 or 3 times and it glows as it is running with a lithium battery which is inside the motor. *THANK YOU* 😉

generator is not made instead it is used the metal battery like object is itself a generator he just allowed the conductor inside it to cut the magnetic flux by rotating the disks

This is a simple project but if u make a generator with a bicycle wheel you could make electicity and you could use it for light it was usefull during war when you had no electicity at all.
