I would like to know when all of this changed. When I was in high school, in the 80's, girls were told to not go out with a guy the first time he ask. In other words, make HIM chase her. I'm not saying these tactics don't work, I've seen it in my own life, but it's not the natural order to how dating is supposed to be. I think that's why so many relationships fail now days. We are trying to start them by doing it backwards. When a woman chases a guy, he sees her as "easy" and if that's one of the first thoughts he has about her, it won't last. Men are wired to chase. Way back in history, men hunted. That's a chase. That's our nature. Instead, women are told men are pathetic and needy if they chase a girl. But, we're just following our nature. Women are not following their nature. It's backwards. That's the main reason that men are walking away from dating. I'm not sure if I'm done trying to date or not. It's just a lot of games and I'm not sure if I have the patience or the energy to put up with it. Thanks if you read this. Sorry it's so long.

Do you know what I seriously don't understand about women? Men "need" to manipulate women to get her to like, miss or whatever. Why can't women just enjoy what they have or getting and just be in the moment, instead playing emotional push and pull... A man has a girlfriend, the man is totally fine and is enjoying it without any much issues. He is doing stuff around the house, he is helping his girlfriend with things, he is sometimes cooking. He is just enjoying the moments with his girlfriend in the time he is living in. Then the other side, girlfriend finds it great that her boyfriend is doing these things, then over time she is losing interest in him, problem start to evolve. The boyfriend has no idea what's going on. Girlfriend loses even more interest and is seeking attention else were. Boyfriend still doesn't get it, he thought it was going so well. Eventually cheating or a break-up. Like W T H... Please correct me if I am wrong, but this is ridiculous. Somehow the whole dating society has changed. These days you need to be manipulative to get what you want. This is not ok... Hopefully I will meet someone who is true, and not a false positive...

I been married for 25 1/2 years. I am sentenced to life with no chance of parole. But I don’t mind, many years ago I though about gnawing off my leg to get free, but now i am like most life convicts that been inside a long time. They get used to prison and are afraid to get out. So now I look forward to death, no just joking I like being married to her. Marrying her was the best thing I did besides having 3 kids. When you find the right one, you will know. @@Lordran__ It hasn't been great, but it hasn't been crushing yet either. Its so confusing. And so very difficult. It really shouldn't have to be this hard. Back and forth we have gone over the past 3 weeks. One minute shes hot, next she is cold. And it seems its nothing Im doing that makes a difference, its all her so the above theory is moot in my case. Whether she sits at home and has doubts or wakes up and decides she loves me today, I just cant work it out. Which sucks, because Im pretty smitten over her after all this time, I just wish she could be as clear as I am when it comes to feelings. Nothing to do except embrace stoicism and let it all play out by itself, I have no control.
