How to Make a Good Basic Entrance in Planet Coaster 

yea i just downloaded it yesterday and got overwhelmed very quickly and was like ok wow i need help

the thememaker's toolkit is a feature that was added to the game a while back. It allows players to upload they're own 3d objects to the game. You can download the items people have uploaded through the steam workshop. It adds so many new items that are not in the game. This was part of a free update and as long as your game is up to date you should already have it.

Here’s my tip don’t build the entrance off a theme you can always have different themed areas around the park. All the entrance is really is a wall you pass through so lots of people pulled a train into it with a station up top or most build a big pre entry plaza before you going through the turn styles. Just build something and you’ll get ideas as you build.

If you're on console I suggest plugging in a mouse and keyboard if you have them. Makes it much easier overall.

ctrl+d is duplicate. ctrl+x will duplicate plus use the advanced move tool to help with precise placement. If you go to the settings you can find all your controls and shortcut keys.

If your completely new to the game you probably should start out with something not as detailed. Work your way into that. It takes a lot more time and patience.

The world axis is to align the advanced move tool from the relative axis to the axis aligned with the world/park. Can be handy if your building is aligned with the world and the relative axis is glitched out at times.

The audio was not recorded afterwards. You can even hear me hitting the keys on my keyboard at times during the footage. This tutorial isn't a tutorial on the controls of the game. You should probably learn the controls before building stuff. This is a guide on how to to build a basic entrance. in the pause menu you can find all your controls for the game and can set them to whatever you want. "OMG he is focusing on his building and not the video" the video is about the building. Of course I'm focusing on the building. That's what the video is about.
