Does this work for anyone. I can't communicate with my discord bot. I type something in and don't see anything in the console and don't receive an answer to my question from gpt chat?
The bot can not put links or code blocks when it is asked something about programming (the message is cut off without the code). any suggestions on how to fix it?
When I type in "node index.js" in the terminal it doesn't do anything. What would the issue be? I grabbed the bot token correctly and invited the bot to my server. Everything in the first 16 lines of code is exactly what's in the video but it won't show me that the bot is logged in
idk if i will bc part twos of videos tend to get a lot less attention bc it doesn't make sense for anyone except those that already saw the first one to see the second

everything is working finr on my server where i added this and starts writing codes but when i invite this bot to my other channels it doesnt work, the bot stays online but it doent work on other channels at all, please help niconiconii
I get this error when I use the bot ReferenceError: openai is not defined at Client. (C:\Users\User\Desktop\ChatBot\index.js:52:22) at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5) Emitted 'error' event on Client instance at: at emitUnhandledRejectionOrErr (node:events:393:10) at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:84:21)
The code worked......for a moment, and then when I restarted my mac, it shows this message : TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'displayName') If you have time, could you help me with this error message?

Great tutorial! Before I get started in this I was wondering if the chat continues the same conversation with other as well as yourself? or is each chat questions and responses linked to the account? I'm trying to create a word game with chat gpt integrated into my discord and I want each account to be a player basically. as of right now I have one installed and I can't add anyone else to the game.
this is the second video i watched, where he says type npn init -y, and that doesnt seem to be working for me, all i notice is that both these people use imac, is that maybe my issue? that i use a real pc?
what's the error you run into? I'm guessing likely you don't have npm/node installed. Do a quick google search and you'll find instructions on how to install it.
