Permanent capacitors are connected serially to the AC voltage line and used to limit the output current according to the values on them. Here it is shown how much current the 20 uF and 50 uF capacitors connected in series to the 25 volt AC voltage line give. After the capacitor output, DC voltage conversion was done with a bridge diode. You can make a nice gradual battery charger by adjusting various capacitors and output currents like this. When 2 capacitors are connected in parallel, the output current will increase, so you can charge quickly and slowly.

Note: This video content was made with a 25 volt AC output transformer. Do not experiment unconsciously with 220 voltage and do not handle the cable ends!
