@@FelixImmler Man könnte auch andere Baum Früchte verwenden , da wären Eicheln und Buch-Eckern . Hauptsache viel Fett das verbrennen kann ! Oder aber Pilze wie der Zunderschwamm der sehr lange brennt . Möglichkeiten gibt es viele wie du uns ja immer wieder vorführst ! i collected the nuts from the ground but they are on the ground since october. So i guess they are already kind of dried.

Nuts and potato chips could easily be used to ignite wet tinder. Some plastics work well too. I never thought of stringing nuts, though...

basically I watched a 10 min video about a man burning his nuts and that's nuts. by the way Felix on a serious note you don't catch a cold from the weather a cold is a cought through a viral infection (virus) transmission is from person to person. the virus becomes more active in the changing of seasons and in winter its more common because people stay indoors more often near each other in holidays and gathering so it spreads more

Ich habe auch schon studiert wie man mit dem Taschenmesser eine einfaches Vogelhaus bauen könnte. Ev würde ich versuchen von einem morschen Ast oder einem Stamm ein Stück Birkenrinde an einem Stück abzuziehen, damit ich so etwas wie ein kleines Rohr bekomme. Das würde ich dann auf beiden Seiten mit einer Scheibe holz schliessen. LG

I live in an area where the forests are full with haselnut trees. I've been plaing among the trees, carving and making bows and collecting haselnuts since I was a kid, but I had no idea that they burn so well. Thanks for passing on the knowledge Felix. Felix wishing you & family a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year 2022 . I am hoping that the 2022 Alox set will return to the Classic, Cadet & Pioneer ( or X ) format & not another 130mm Hunter. My other wish for 2022 from Victorinox is that they will make Silver Tech Plus scales, it is IMO an oversight by them not to do so as its a relatively simple thing to make at the factory level.
