In this video, I made a vase with a herringbone pattern, which was made from rosewood, meranti wood and Sungkai wood, for finishing using woodwax and beeswax #mayukowoodturning #segmentedwoodturning #woodturning
This never gets old. You just keep making heirloom-quality treasures. If you’re not already showing your art in galleries and art museums, you should be. Very beautiful vase!
people who have the opinion of " it is very expensive for a bit of wood" should be made to watch this video to get a feel for the incredible amount of time and skill required to make something like this,
Thank you, kind sir, for making this beautiful vase in the double herringbone design. Truly, a work of a master craftsman. May you be blessed as so many of us are blessed to watch your work from wooden pieces to wooden vase! Thanks again! 😊
I'm very grateful again for your love and patience for appreciating and appreciating my work..a motivation for me to keep improving everything, thank you for everything, have a nice day.. 🙏🙏🙏
Imagination, talent, patience and craftsmanship. It's fascinating just to watch someone of your abilities. Thank you for taking the time to share that with us. As always, I'll be looking forward to your next video.
Thank you very much for always watching my videos and giving a good assessment of my work, it's nice to be able to share and hope I can continue to make good work 🙏🙏🙏
Over half the video in just preparing the basic form for turning and the amount of work required is amazing ... then you start turning ... a truly fantastic piece of craftsmanship and artwork 👍
That's right, I need 4 days to prepare the basic shape before turning, and no more than 2 days of turning can be completed, thank you for watching my video.. 🙏🙏🙏
@@mayukowoodturning7644Please add this sort of information to your description or the video if possible ... we cannot judge the time because it's all condensed, knowing this took six days to make adds an extra level of appreciation on top of what you already give ... simply astounding 👍
@@barry.w.christie Maybe it's a good idea to add information to the description, I was too busy doing everything myself, didn't think to put any information in the video or description, thanks for the suggestion 🙏🙏🙏
Impressive work man!!! Had to take awhile to cut an assemble everything. You for sure have a hell of a talent. Keep thise video's coming. I'm learning alot from ya!
it is wonderful to see how these come together, its easy to forget how much time is involved just to get everything ready for the lathe! Truly masterful. Absolutely stunning, the finish is sublime and makes the vase glow!!
Thank you for your assessment of my work, even though it takes quite a long time to make it but it feels satisfying to be able to make a work of art that can be enjoyed by many people 🙏🙏🙏
It's amazing just how much time and effort is needed to complete one of these treasures. Also, the intricacy and sheer perfection in this piece alone highlights your wonderful talent in woodturning. As already stated in other comments here, this is 'art' in the finest way. Your product is worth showcasing in a museum or art gallery for all to admire. It is an absolute pleasure watching and learning from your videos. You are a master in your craft!
Thank you very much for your attention and appreciation of my work, hopefully one day it will happen, you are very right it takes a lot of time in this work but it is very enjoyable for me if it is done well, it's nice to be able to share and I hope my video can be useful for the crowd.. 🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful finished product. Question: At one point, when you had been turning, but hadn't started waxing or oiling, I noticed a crack still present at the seam. How did you take care of that?
@@msudawgma I mean, the remaining pieces of wood are too small to make anything, but certainly thank you very much for your attention to my work, have a nice day 🙏🙏🙏
