If anyone wants exact dimensions, I have just made another video, which also has links to a diagram I made. Hopefully that will help :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o4zxBpuB0Qg.html
thx GOD i just want to play some of my beloved toys as a kid and was never had it and as young adult, looking for real track to buy is prety expensive now i can use my money to buy some good or decent 4wd and use my tons of cardboard :D:D:D
Hi, thank you so much for posting this video. I have a couple of questions, 1, How do you make the turns? Did you had to figure out the angle? 2. How long is your track? I'm trying to build one right now but i'm not sure how long I want the track to be. I use an xacto knife to cut. I use a metal ruler and press the edge of the knife against the ruler, it worked out great for me so far.
The turns are actually easy. I figured out how wide the full half circle of a complete turn is and found the center point. Then I measured from the center point where I wanted my walls, drawing many dots to show where the arc goes, then connected the dots, cut out the shape and then taped and glued on the walls. Does that make sense? I'm not sure if I explained that well enough.
I'd guess the cars would go through the turns a bit slower because the cardboard would probably have more friction than the real plastic tracks. Sorry I didn't reply for 4 months, but I never got a notification of this message!
It's neither. You could use either of those I guess, but this is a cheap brown duct tape clone. Not quite as good as real duct tape, but better than some of the other options. I think packing tape would make too slippery a surface.
My straight section is 162cm. I made a video about all the dimensions, which has a diagram if you want more info. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o4zxBpuB0Qg.html
