I know you did this video in January, but today is the first time I've seen it! I'm still relatively new to dp. So I was glad to come across this. Thank you so much for sharing!
FYI: Made my pen as in the video. The problem came in a couple of hours later when the metal part of the tip started slowly going back into the white plastic part of the nib. Fixed the issue by taking the pen apart (or you can just start with a new pen), getting the metal back into its original position in the plastic nib, and putting some super glue into the small plastic nib so it wouldn't slide back in. I also added a blunt needle into the nib containing the super glue to be sure the metal nib wouldn't slide back in. Once the super glue dried, I finished it off by adding hot glue. The needle (or whatever you can find to fit into the plastic nib) makes for a stronger pen because it gives the hot glue more than just the inside of the screw on part of the pen to adhere to, and the security of knowing the metal nib won't disappear on me again!
If you already had a diamond painting pen, why did you cut it up to put on another pen? It doesn't make sense to advertise your video as "make your own diamond painting pen", when you have to go out and buy a diamond painting pen for the parts.
The pink cheap drill pen comes free with the diamond drill kits that you purchase. For those of us that do diamond paintings, we have hundreds of those cheap pink pens. They are very uncomfortable to work with. So you can take out the drill tip and use it in any comfortable pen. It helps for people that need bigger pens to work with and to make no slip pens so technically it is " making your own diamond pen" instead of the cheap plastic pens that you get for Free! So you don't have to buy any of them :)
@@yoloovni6621 exactly what I’m saying like if your improving the dp then say “how to make your drill pen more comfortable” not “how to make a homemade pen” like it’s not homemade if your literally using the item your making it’s like telling someone the definition to a word and using the word in your definition 😂
But why would u need to make a pen if u already have the pink dot pen and you wreck it to Just ad the tip to another pen? I don't get what the diff is? You're just switching the thing that fills with wax lol
