How to Make a Inverter Air Cooler at Home || How to Make an DC Air Cooler || Diy Room Cooler
Hello & Welcome to my channel. In this video we learn how we can make a cooler with help of plastic drum & 12v dc motor. we can run this cooler by our invererter or 12v battery this is very energy efficient cooler. Material details are given below.
Material use
- 45 Liter Plastic Barrel
- Air Cooler Grass Pad
- Metal Mesh
- Steel Sheet
- M seal ( Black Stiff)
- Metal Box
- Plastic Tube
- 12V DC Motor
- Mini Cooler Propeller
- Plywood
- Switch
- 12V DC Adaptor

Reminds me of junior high metal shop in the 70's. A lot of the sheet metal work was cut by hand. This guy's a true craftsman

This is pure skill, and talent, and zero carbon footprint manufacturing. Not many people can do what these guys ( I think one guy built it all ) did. Had it been "Rolls Royce" pricing would have been different although the talent would have been exactly to this level. Sad, they don't get compensated enough. I would call this "extreme skill". Where can I buy a few to encourage these guys ?

There's no such thing as "zero carbon footprint manufacturing". Even if you neglect transport, there is electricity used and people all have carbon footprints. Compensation seems enough to keep plenty employed at what they're charging for these units. There seems a large district that has many industrious folks. I'd more likely want to buy them some gloves, given the injuries sheet metal work can cause, but certainly kudos to the skill and effort shown here!

Okay, an evaporative cooler. Works great in a dry environment, makes everything worse in a humid environment. Wyoming used to have these everywhere and now they are about gone since the humidity is getting higher here. But good job.

Cheap & effective, though the electrical wiring leaves a lot to be desired. I dont think he even used wire nuts to make the splices.

Rangeeli didi. In Pakistan you can also find alot of fancy cooleds, fan and AC industry is well established in Pakistan but these handmade coolers are cheap and heave duty also

Please paint the iron frame of fan to avoid rust as there will moisture inside cooler and it will oxidise the iron frame. Also use proper insulation between switches and cooler body to avoid electric shock. Full marks for hardwork, keep it up. God bless

i did mine different i made mine a side draft window coolere but i used a 6cm thick aluminum sheet to make the box and used a scrap blower from the last cooler an also the pump and made the grates out of 3cm aluminum like the last one and used what i had from the old one on to the new one

It’s been known since the days of Henry Ford that there are much better techniques than to have one skilled fella do everything, slowly and with poor compatibility. It’s so much better to make parts in batches, all identical and interchangeble. This kind of one-off artisanship may seem impressive but it can’t compete with factory production in cost, quality, efficiency, or reliability.

The water pads should be made separate for easy replacement. Then the holding frames can just have a wire clamp that holds it on.

Evap coolers work well if you live in a very dry environment. Guessing Pakistan is pretty dry, otherwise they wouldn't be selling these.
