If you dont know how to make a character jump, defenitely dont use this method. Use a y velocity variable and set it to 13 or whatever you want it to be. Also, dont just throw yourself into a scroller game, scrolling in scratch is hard
Why not make a random obstacle give a good/bad surprise? We could touch it and it could increase/decrease our score greatly! We could also make a "jump height" variable! And maybe we could make some sprites come along the way to increase our score!

4:28 I think, giving the variable to the egg will be more efficient instead of giving it to the chicken. Because in this code, also if the chichen jump before the egg comes, score counts. Anyways thank you very much for the tutorial. 🙏
Also you don't have to do this but you can make a cloud variable called "High score" BUT it will not work if you reset it to zero when green flag clicked so that means when your about to publish/update the game set the high score to zero
Thanks for the tutorial. However there’s a concern here. The score goes up if the chick just jump even without jumping over the obstacle. How does one only add scores only if the chick jumps over the egg ?
U can also do green flag set grav 0 forever if key space pressed then set grav to 5 if not touching ground then change grav by 0.17 if touching ground and not key space pressed then set grav to 0 change y by (grav)

Question, if you put the score under the "when space key pressed" block wouldn't it make the score go up 1 even if you do not jump over an egg? How do you make it so that you only get score if you successfully jump over an egg?
great tutorial, I can say ive successfully made my first game except I cant make my sprite jump when im in fullscreen. Works fine from the coding area but in fullscreen mode my sprite wont jump. Any ideas to how I can fix this?
After touching the ball and Stop All function executed, the balls stopped rolling but if I continue to press spacebar the chick continues to jump and the score continues to increase. Can you solve this?
I liked scratch from the beginning because it was so great, but gradually it started to bother me about the limitation of possibilities ... for example, I tried 100 ways so that after the "pause" which is in the third minute of the video, the game could continue after pressing the given key again, but not by chance it was not possible .... a person in c# would rather do it .... because simply looking for a way to do in scratch when there 100 ways don't work ... it is already a bit of a utopia for me
