Great tutorial! I didn't notice that you were sewing with your left hand until almost the end of the video. I'm left handed and was watching it look very easy. A lot of times I have to figure out which direction when a right handed person does it. Now I don't have to because it all looks so natural to me.

Quick question: If I wanted to leave the cap intact under the wig could I? Because let’s say I don’t have no edges or any hair in the front would it be okay to not cut out the front of the cap?

You can but the color of the lace will not show good. The black color from the cap will make your lace color look darker when you place the wig unit on your head and you will not get your true skin tone lace look.

How did you add the band to keep the wig on the head? You didn't show that band

But what about now when wig artist sew the tracks to the cap on a sewing machine, seems like they go through the elastic band then

It would all depend on how many tracks you are sewing down on the wig cap. The more the thread is stitching the more you are pulling on the cap, which can shrink the original size of it. Also, when sewing on a sewing machine, you need to make sure you are stretching the cap periodically to make sure your completed wig unit is not too small. This goes for sewing by hand as well. If you notice in my wig making videos, I am always re-adjusting the wig cap & the t-pins on the mannequin head. Hope this helps.

I noticed that u sewed down the sides of the frontal by your ears? Why? That means that you can’t glue it down there then right? Because it’s sewed on the cap

Thank you for your video, my question is about the length. I usually wear 12 inch wigs. So would I buy a bundle of 10 inches for when I sew the tracks on the nape and a 12 inch bundle for the tracks that go higher up? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How did you get the frontal in position from 4:01 to 4:04? I need help. :( I cut my frontal to 11.50" because that is my ear to ear across hairline measurement. I don't know how to position my frontal as you did. I wish you had been more specific. :(
