It's a plastic board made to protect the teeth of your iron without having to do it on your craft mat, which would highly destroy it. I got mine on primeleathertools, all with the irons and such, pretty good tools. Before I used an old wooden board but my irons were dull pretty quickly

Just go to a dollar store or ikea and get a plastic cutting board. The thicker the better. I've used mine for ovef 3yrs

Personally, I have many spatulas, and - as often as not - I end up using a scrap of cut leather as my glue spreader. 😏
