I could endure no more than 3 minutes of that croaking, corncrake voice, then I muted the rest of the video. What IS IT with American women younger than a certain age, that they insist on speaking in that ridiculous way? It's NOT natural or genetic, and it's NOT a personal affliction (which I would never make fun of). It's deliberate, and put-on. I really don't understand the thinking behind it.
