I do use tylose when making figurines! I only add a bit of tylose powder though. I do also use cornstarch for mixing the fondant/gumpaste. As for steaming unfortunately I didn’t film it in this video however, in my Easter bunny cake tutorial I show how I steam cakes at the 11:07 mark.

I’m sure it will turn out lovely :) I think if you use similar techniques as this video it will turn out great. I would recommend however to make the body longer and the neck longer to make it look more realistic!! I will post a fondant giraffe tutorial as my next video to be posted on Friday! Hope that will help!!

Mam have you painted the lion ... as lot of shine is there on it. And how to dry the figure ... in open air or in jar

I keep cake toppers in open air on the counter top for a couple days prior to adding it on the cake. I also steam my toppers to give it a nice shine and to get rid of any cornstarch. I usually steam the day after I make the toppers so that it won’t melt! Hope that helps!!

Awesome job, how long did you leave it to dry?
@caketoppedwithlove7518
@caketoppedwithlove7518 3 года назад
@@terry-annhemans4786 about 2 days! If you’re using tylose powder it should be fine after a day
