This homemade manual winch can also be used for heavy duty applications. I used sprockets and chain to increase the torque for this diy winch. I made a ratchet mechanism for this homemade winch. This diy ratchet mechanism is fixed to this homemade manual winch. This diy homemade winch machine may looks simple but it really performs very well.
