Kumihimo starter kit: If you are a beginner in kumihimo, I have a starter kit available. It is a great way to get started as it has everything you need to make several pieces and get you going on your kumihimo journey. csldesignsshop.com/products/kumihimo-starter-kit
I've been doing Kumihimo for a couple of years now but was taught to turn the disk clockwise. Since so much of the movement is automatic for me now, it seems easier to re-number the chords than retrain my brain! To achieve your result, it seems like I should begin numbering with the cord at 32/1 as #1 and continue the numbering counterclockwise around the disk. Will this work?
Fantastic but I'll need to finish watching later. Because ....... My 3yr old granddaughter thought you had garter snakes and kept asking if they were dead. 🤣 Joys of babysitting.
I don't know why I am having such a brain block over here. I start out at 32/1 and move it to the top 15/16 and then bring 16/17 down to 30/31.... I'm trying to figure out how to switch it around, but it's not working out.
Lovely necklace and bracelet! Do those copper rounds eventually turn dark? I've made jewelry with others and after wearing them a couple of times the copper started to develop dark spots. I like to find some that don't.
Jo Mullins Thank you so much. It depends a little on which ones. I feel like some pieces I have they do, and some they don’t seem to as much. But I think it’s worth it just having to clean them every now and then. The funny thing is, it’s the copper ones that do sometimes, but the silver metal spacer beads I find rarely do it. Don’t know why they can’t just make them the same 😝
