How To Make A Minecraft Server For 1.19.3 - No Port Forwarding or Hamachi

In this tutorial, I will show you how to make a Minecraft server without port forwarding or using a VPN software like Hamachi or RadminVPN. Instead we will use a program called ngrok. This is the easiest way to make a Minecraft server and will work for all versions of Minecraft.

Do you know about the geyser/floodgate plugins for spigot? Does that not work with this method of hosting servers? I've been attempting to set it up but unfortunately there isn't any documentation about ngrok on the geyser supported server hosts. If you're not familiar it's a plugin that allows bedrock players to join java through UDP Port somehow. I've been trying to find help anywhere.

Everything works for me, but the latency is 400ms, and the server is lagging for my friends they can't even join the server, they get kicked. btw I play EU, so I set the region to EU latency got a little bit lower but my friends still can't play in my server, they just get kicked and the world is not loading for them. Can I fix it somehow?

I completed all the steps until when it comes to pasting the address from the ngrok command prompt and copying it into the mc server address tab. The server wont load. My ISP doesn't allow for port forwarding, could this be the reason why??

This is an old ish video so you might not have an answer, but is the ping supposed to be extremely high even though the region is set to the closest where I’m at. Not sure if maybe I got a problem on my end. The high ping is making me constantly crash.

So I’ve spun up a vanilla server with ngrok. If I were to spin up a new server with let’s say mods. Do I need to put another ngrok.exe in that folder with a different port. So that I can run both simultaneously. Think that would work?

Make sure you are using two dashes (--region) rather than one dash (-region).

When trying to log in to the server with ngrok running I get this error: Failed to log in: Invalid session (Try restarting your game and the launcher) Well I have tried to restart my game and the launcher multiple times and it still shows up, wtf is going on

Nvm, I looked it up and it turns out it's because Minecraft Launcher was still running in the background despite closing out the game, had to go into Task Manager and manually close it, don't know how that happened.

Probably already figured this out but you can just open notepad on your computer, add the text he did then just save it as run.bat and put it in the right folder.

Hello Im getting a consistent error that people not on my wifi network cant connect to my server. Me and my roommates are connecting just fine but nobody else can. Also when they go on a cellular hot spot they can connect. I have tried everything I could think of. Which was hosting the server on a vpn. Setting online mode to false. Making the server ip equal "localhost". And the combination of these things. Im wondering if you know some sort of solution. Or can at least help identify the problem. Also my friends are on the vanilla version of the latest version of Minecraft officially bought. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You can change the view distance in the server.properties file. However it will lower the performance of the server.

I host a fabric 1.18 fabric server with a custom Modpack, to join I use curseforge to create the Modpack, transfer the mod folder from there to the Server data Folder called mods, then to join me and my friends just launch the Modpack using Curseforge (search for the Modpack and click play) good luck
