Cool, I expected you to utilize hot glue in the shaft from motor to bit. I'm three videos into your channel and i am subscribing. Only thing i would have changed in this build would be the tooth pattern and the shaft.

One thing I would do differently is put a momentary switch on. because it scares me how if something happens you have to manually turn it off.

Я помню скучно было и захотел такую игрушку) взял движок из Шурика и налепил на него абразивный диск . После сделал батарею из аккумуляторов из вейпа (6 банок) Ляяя ,этот диск мог в голову полететь( сила была такая что этот диск был сломан на частей 20 и крошки абразива по всей комнате)))) А это реально плагиат и штука для подростков лет 12

wouldn't a single 9v battery be much lighter better design, easier and give more power? you could have also used a battery holder so you are able to easily replace it when it runs low on power and have less soldering to do

You could do all that........or just buy a Dremel? (Especially if you need to cut small, thin bits of plastic or wood that could easily be cut with a pair of scissors)

That would be a soldering iron. It melts a metal called solder that has a low melting point.

I wouldn't use a switch for this tool would rather use a deadman's button. Once you press it, it needs to be kept pressed on to function and once you for example cut yourself and you let it go it stops.
