I wanted to ask if there was a way to automatically transfer money to vendors when they request for a withdrawal instead of having to go to pay pal and then do it manually as you showed in the video. Also, I'm in Ghana, a country west of Africa. Here, instead of credit cards or paypal etc, most people prefer to use MOMO. This is actually much more easier to use since you just have to use your mobile number to register a 'bank account' with your service provider and then you have your money on your phone. In my case the buyers and sellers will prefer this option to pay pal for instance. i don't know if there's a plugin like that that i could add.

How do you force users to process payments on your website instead of in person? Some local users may decide to pay when they see the merchandise in person, therefore bypassing the store commission system.
You can't force them what you can do is minimize it through on site benefits when purchasing like points or Sales... To encourage ppl to use the website to buy.

Hello. I am glad you asked this question. I have been on a project that is using Dokan for multivendor and it needs this for about a week now. I have looked stack overflow, WordPress community etc. No one could help. I don't want my vendor store to show the products directly. I want it to show categories (Of the products) and when a category is clicked, it shows the products therein. Apparently, this is not a function in the plugin yet. Please, kindly give me pointers when you get the solution. I will be immensely grateful. Thank you again. It seems to me the author is not an owner of a such business, he does know nothing about pit stones in this. No words about taxation customer -> you -> vendor, no info about transactions routine - how to automate it. Without the information mentioned your shop is a poor black spot

Darrel, I noticed that we need to have a PayPal account in order to approve or send the amount to the vendor manually, is that true? Because I live in a country not covered by PayPal or Stripe. In addition, do I need a stripe account to also send the money to the vendor if they selected the bank transfer option only? Hey! To ensure customers can shop from multiple vendors simultaneously, configure your Dokan settings to enable multi-vendor shopping. This feature allows customers to add products from different vendors to their cart and check out in a single transaction. Check the Dokan documentation or settings under Dokan > Settings > General to make sure this option is enabled. Feel free to drop your questions in the comments below.

Hi @Darrel Wilson I have a query. In multivendor market place, Say customer orders 2 different products from 2 different vendor eg:combined value of $100 each $50. According to the website to eligible for free shipping $80 minimum oder is enough. But shipping is handled by vendor in this case how to handle, both vendors can't do free shipping as each of them minimum order required is $80. from customer point of view it is free shipping....How to handle this?

you COULD use cross sell feature. So you can take 1 product, and add the products you want to recommend at checkout as cross sells. You can also try this plugin ( but i havent tried it yet) wordpress.org/plugins/woo-bought-together/

Hi Darrel, my website will be a directory and a marketplace but for the first 6-12 months, it will be a directory that I build up myself and then businesses can claim their listing in the directory if they want. Once the site has gained traction, then I want to promote/incorporate the marketplace. Could you please let me know what theme you would recommend for this? I believe I'd be fairly confident to build most myself (I have another sucessful directory website but I need a more improved theme) but may need to hire your services to complete before going live, is this something that you offer please?

I'm working on a multi ecommerce myself with some creative twist, and learning as I go. Then I recently I like your 2024 ecommerce, you using Blocksy, but I keep astra and free elementor version, Dokan. the problem, I can't seem to figure out for weeks is why my basket sliding animation that are comes from the right side swing all the way to the left fast and back to the right to show 40%. Any suggestion why the basket / cart when click on would swings out from right to left and settle back at right?
Hey! The cart animation issue might be due to a CSS or JavaScript conflict. Temporarily switch to a default theme and disable all plugins except Elementor and Dokan, then re-enable them one by one to find the conflict. Ensure everything is updated and check the browser console for errors when clicking the cart. This should help resolve the problem.

I really appreciate this video! Is there a way to make it so I would take 10% commission and then vendors would get the rest without me having to pay them out? Not sure if that is possible but it would make it much easier to not have to manage payouts. EDIT: Would this be me turning on the reverse withdraw and disabling the regular withdraw?
Hey! Yes, you can automate the commission process by turning on "Reverse Withdrawal" in the Dokan plugin settings and disabling the regular withdrawal option. There is a vacation mode. But are you talking about buyers not buying online during a brick & mortar store's closed hours? If that is the case I would say let them keep buying...that's the beauty of the internet. Maybe I'm missing something in your question though.
@@lydialutz thanks Lydia. I actually found a way to specify store opening & closing times and the system automatically shuts off the store after hours. In my case, its purely a local delivery concept so we can't have any overnight or beyond purchases. It has to be same day order & delivery/pickup.
