The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials ikr!! Oh those dragon dragon beads you had forbyour patreon giveaway would looked wicked! Ugh customizable knuckle dusters are possibly the best thing you can do with paracord now. You sir have earned yourself a subscriber😁👍
Great tutorial for a fun project! Don’t worry about all the negative comments, you made it very clear that it’s not to promote violence or to be used in an actual combat situation! I’ll looks great and you did a great job! 👍
jared schriml. You could even incorporate this into a decorative hand guard or a basket hilt with multiple guards together. This is just a great project I cant wait to try
Sooo... People here been stressing about how useless this thing in an actual combat situation... I appreciate what you do on this channel, but for me paracord projects have always been about utility. So I wondered whether this knucke duster could be modified to actually comply with the purpose stated in the title. It is perfectly clear that knuckes made out of paracord could not be used as brass knuckes... cause weight, that's why. However, it could be made to protect your hand during punches. To achieve this (I think) you need larger grip handle without any steel inside (a standard four-strand base will suffice) and broader top cover that would prevent you from sknning your knuckles. The whole point is moving your thumb joint as far from impact zone as possible (cause dislocating it sucks), creating padding for other fingers and covering knuckles with tightly woven paracord. Oh, and no steel in the whole thing whatsoever. Made like this, this Knucke Duster would resemble and MMA glove with additional protection and easy slide-on/removal. THIS could work in a fight (not by amplifying damage done by punches, though, but by protecting hand from injuries).
Lol! There's so much padding behind those nuts, it *might* scratch someone, but not much else. Yes, I heard the disclaimer. I realize it isn't meant as a serious knuck. But it has given me a idea for paracord knuck that is a little more serious.
The first one was licorice and gold. I thought about participating, but I've been a little busy and also there are much more creative and talented paracordists out there than me. 🙂
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials Gold that's what I was thinking. I hear you about the Knot games. I'm in the amateur division and getting my butt kicked by so called "amateurs".
Man. Very BIG please. Can you make a Dog Herness ? This is important for me. Can you make a dog herness for dog breed Chow Chow ? Thanks for Answer, in advance
*gladatorial d(-_o) you might actually have a cestus if you used box cutter razor blades in place of the nuts. speaking of nuts and acknowledging the disclaimer, if you wanted to hurt someone there are dozens of ways to do so that are better than these, including a blackjack to the nuts. Heck you could even tie a monkeys fist on the end to ensure the point gets across. Hey Tim, couple things here.. first up I'll be making a mad max stitched solomon's dragon in the next few days here when the colors I ordered arrive, but noticed the only ups you have are the SD with knot closure and SSD with buckle.. any ideas on adapting the SSD to mad max style closure? if not I'm sure I'll figure something out but wanted to ask if you had plans to adapt one so I'm not cussing at the cords for the first fifteen minutes or so. second up and something I've contemplated mentioning for a couple days, every youtube instructional (you, bored, cbys etc) all do this. when you go to make a .. I think you call it a cattle knot or a cow hitch.. you all pull the long end of the paracord through the small loop created. Now, I've been tying Macrame since middle school (class of '04) usually with hemp but finally caught on that paracord makes a better, stronger medium that unties easier when needed. I've developed something I call the 'Jofreidr' method (for the guy I learned from) to the cow hitch where after making the loop, instead of whipping yourself and the things around you with the long end of the paracord, take the buckle or ring or whatever and pass it through the loop, then pinch the loop and pull tight. for example, imagine you have a necklace. the necklace is one unbroken piece of paracord about 30 inches long. imagine you have a ring you want to put on the necklace without taking the necklace off. pull an inch or two of the necklace down through the ring, then with your other hand open the cord that was pulled through the necklace to make an open loop and push the ring through that loop. you'll see what I mean. then imagine the necklace isn't closed on the back of your neck. that feels like about a thousand words, equal to one picture. you get what I'm saying right? I can make a video if my directions suck, just wanted to point out a shortcut I haven't seen you take.
Hey, I haven't done Mad Max closure for the Solomon's Dragon yet, but I'm pretty sure I could figure it out. As for the alternate method of the cow's hitch, I think I did a video on that already. Were you thinking of this method: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CuSDTyO7lIY.html ?
nope not that way, this way is easier than even that. in that video if you stop at 0:10 and push the clasp down through the loop you wont need to take the cord ends and pull them through. d(-_o) you'll still wind up with a cows hitch. tinyurl.com/cowring1 tinyurl.com/cowring2 then just pull the clasp/ring/what have you through the loop and voila, cows hitch. ^_^ interestingly enough, though I found the images of that method for a ring I haven't seen those folks use that method for clasps.. though anything with a hole in it will work so long as you can push the entire object through the loop.
i.imgur.com/oF52gV0.jpg used about a foot more paracord than advised on each suggestion from your solomon's dragon weave tutorial, wound up with an extra foot of gray, an extra 6" of blood diamond center weave and an extra 6" of core blood diamond. now, the one thing that kicked my butt was the micro cord - I used a full 50" but was still about 6" short on 7.25" of weave (7" weaveable, 0.25" securing the pull-cinch). was nearly done with the weaving before I noticed >.< - had to remove it all and used a full 6' of micro cord, going back and re-tightening it twice after I wove through. wound up with a little less than a foot extra. X_X Thanks for the inspiration m8, will keep you appraised if I make anything fascinating and/or unique d(-_o) e\typo
i.imgur.com/3qAOKhs.jpg As promised, the Fishtongue; started by taking one of my mad max blanks (I have half a dozen 'blank' bracelets in various colors hanging above my workbench made VIA this method - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DU14R5F84fA.html - only I stop at 6:00 so I can make whatever short design I want - cobra, fishtail, shark jaw, etc.) and start tying a fishtail but double the top strand over the bottom the way you do with a dragon's tongue. as an added bonus, it's an extremely thin weave so if your significant other is like my wife and complains the bracelet you made her is too thick or it just doesn't look right, this will fit the bill. I would have called it a dragon's tail, but I have another weave that fits that name far too well. inb4 the extreme likelihood that someone else has already woven this and I just didn't see it. Cheers!
No offense brother jt will break your fingers. Its useless unless you properly support it from going back into your fingers. Imagine getting attacked by 3 people and you pull this out maybe take one out but break your fingers and are left out to be stomped by remaining two guys
Why not simply make it a bracelet, so you can wear it as an accessery, and won't get it trouble for caring a weapon. No officer, this is just a punk bracelet, not a weapon. Put a buckle on it, and its not a weapon.....
HAHAHAHAAAAAA, am i the ONLY person that know what will happen to your hand if you ever use these???!!!! (go punch a heavy bag 10 times as hard as you can) i'll wait.
