This is so much better than the original tutorial, after the third or fourth failed attempt following that one I was beginning to feel like I might have been having a stroke or something. Thanks for making this videos, turns out it's pretty simple after all.
Finally, a GOOD INSTRUCTIONAL VID! Good lighting, Good Sound & Good camera work...Ive watched 199 videos & finally found one well made....Thank u, my eyes thank u, my ears thank u...As a videographer, Im probably picky but uve got it together, film-wise! Good Luck!
+Dan Roy Wow, thanks for the kind words Dan! I always keep those things in mind when I make a video, so I'm really glad you appreciate the little details. Thanks for watching and commenting!
thanks for the great tutorials tim! i made this knot using a thicker cord(half inch diameter) to use as a chew toy for my dog and she loves it. keep the videos coming, cheers
Ian Coole Cool! Thats a great idea to make a chew toy out of this knot. I'm glad your dog likes it and I'm glad my tutorial helped. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)
Sweet lord this was tough for a newbie like me! My first attempts aren't as tight as they could have been but I'm happy with how they came out. They make great super chunky zipper pulls for my rucksack! Thanks for the great vid!
Great tutorial bud, mad this knot but longer and without the bit on the end for key set of keys, thinking of doing the same for my folding knife, the knit fits lovely in my hand, keep up the good work
oh man you were so right, I saw the other video and was absolutely hoping for a bit better video. Thank you so much for putting this together and creating this channel. I have subscribed and will surely pass it on to everyone I know! Thanks again!!
what helped for me was when i realized that the shape was like three legs of a cone or a teepee and that the long strand went over-under-over-under as you go around the three legs of the cone shape. the three legs were more obvious to me when i flipped it upside down too.
How do I sign up? What does it cost? Do you have illustrated books. No question you know the knots. What is difficult is seeing how you do it with your fingers in the way.. Sometimes the explanation s arr vague I what more info. Ch
Are you sure that this is emerald green paracord? Looking on Amazon at emerald green (and google images pictures), this looks a lot more blue. I really like this one!
This is tied incorrectly. Dave Weissman and CityVoxNY spotted this. At 6.32 you can see the strands are vertical coils and not interlaced properly leading to one irregular side of the three sides. But we still like you!
You made it wrong. The wrap around the "short cord" is going around it the wrong way. The result, you'll notice, makes one side of the "rattle"different than the other 2. Check JD's video for the propper wrapping of this fob.
This is wrong! You end up with a "butt crack" on one of the three sides instead of tight weaves on each of the three sides. Please take it down. Otherwise, great vid....just need to do it right.
