After countless woodworking videos, I stumbled onto this video and it is the first one that my wife also enjoyed. After watching she even expressed interest in learning woodworking (wow!) and setting up a shop. THANK YOU. The boxes are both beautiful! Great technique, design and engaging video.

Did you ever work in wider industry as a designer? You have a way of doing things which really floats my boat! I had a fairly decent career as an electronics designer, progressing through from small companies to slightly less small ones, including one which won the world F1 constructors' title for six seasons running. But still with a friendly, do it all feel. I could design everything from the boxes to the integrated circuits inside them, and everything in between, the printed circuits, all the circuits themselves, and the software to go with it all, both inside and outside the boxes. But the boxes were my favourite bit! I love to design the complete product, it gives so much more to you to be able to balance all the elements to produce your vision of what it should be. In meetings I had to present some kind of plan as to what I intended to do. Of course, you don't know until it's nearly finished, so I told stories. Nearly thirty years of doing everything on very short deadlines in a place where you simply had to deliver, I was exhausted. Your videos really resonate with what I really want to do now I am in my sixties. Thank you so much! I realise you probably have other priorities, your kids must be so proud of you! But please keep these coming when you can!

I don't like going off point but i have to mention your immaculate hands and fingernails...How ? Every Carpenter/woodworker i have ever known has gnarly ol digits, bits missing here and there and enough dirt under their nails to grow flowers. Kudos where kudos is due. I love the problem solving throughout the videos. But my one love, are the sleds! Back in the day with table saws in school etc, sleds didn't exist for the 300+ of us students that given year. They were just there to cut long lengths of wood and that was it. Seeing the versatility of a table saw to cut out dovetails etc with homemade sleds, beautiful. What a waste of a fine piece of machinery for so many thousands of students is my feeling!

I love all of your projects, but I think my favorite bits are your ending parts where you talk about what you did and didn’t like about the choices you made, and how you would fix/ change what you did. Really good work Tamar!!

You Tamar are quite literally too good to be true. The universe does not allow such skills, Perfection, beauty, and awesomeness to exist in any one single entity. Next time you see yourself in the mirror, realize you are not really there. Just a figment in all wood workers imaginations to behold and to be admired.

First : love the little waving fingers in the first few minutes of the video. Gota love kids . Next : I am the same way with saving every little piece of wood ,scrap and extra from every previous project. Finally : ya gota love when an experiment comes together and looks as good as yours does. I hope one day I am blessed with a wife that wood works beside me . I think it's great that more woman are getting into woodworking every year. Thanks for sharing , take care Tamar .

I know you have a ton of tools, and that's awesome and expected for RU-vid woodworkers, but I have to say I love the fact that you use a jobsite table saw. Gives me hope that I can make things just as beautiful!

Beautiful boxes! You are SO creative. It has been so much fun watching you evolve as a woodworker. I love the way you just 'figure things out' intuitively. I am truly envious of your innovative and creative methods in not only your designs but also with your mechanics and jigs you develop to achieve your design goals. Please keep sharing your wonderful projects.

What a great great use (and validation) of scrap wood. It's for a great cause, great colors, great creativity and you make the BEST use of your jigs. I'm interested in how you store all these, but I'm really impressed how you show their practical use. Thanks for the video.
