Thank you for this tutorial, I made a book pouch and am very satisfied with the result :) My advices for those who want to make a book pouch too is that you always have to make sure it's big enough(Better be too big than slightly too small) and after I finished with everything i had to place two thin cardboards so the book wont get stuck in between(with all the ropes) so again, thank you very much for taking the trouble to post this.

I made this for carrying water bottle flavor packets. While long to make I definitely had fun and will probably end up making a second/bigger one at some point. Loved the tutorial video.

Love the stopper for the end of the cord. You can do a lot with that info. :D

What do you think the best use for this is? Multi tools, survival gear, phone case, any ideas?

It's quite like the Altoids survival kit. I'm sure you could fit one in here and there tons of vid out there on how to make an Altoids survival kit.

Wow, that was a quick reply. Also, I'm making a smaller pouch with the initial measurement being 12 inches. How long should my starting cord (the red one you used) be?
@UniformWarrior
@UniformWarrior 7 лет назад
I got lucky lol. You're saying the red cobra stitch, before it is bent, is going to be 12 inches? If that is the case you would use about 15FT as far as I can tell, but I have been wrong before

Great video! Well done! Producing these 'how to' videos is hard, but you did a great job! And I'm going to make a phone case like this. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

I love this, but like some others can't seem to find where you list how much cord you need. *-edit-* I found it at the beginning of the video, I missed that first time around, could you put the same info at the end of the video also and in the text description.

I used a copper pipe, beat flat, then covered with cobra knot as the edge [yours is maroon it helped keep its shape,

Definitely very cool but you mention you're gonna use a lot of para cord, would you mind telling me how much that is? I don't know if I have enough and definitely don't want to start without the right length

Great video. It shows how to make the basic pouch. I am a very new starter paracordist and have a few bits of advice. If your paracord is too short, start again with a longer piece rather than melting another piece on. It is unprofessional to show this on video. Also, I have found that 9 strand paracord fits the lacing needles better. So, again, you won't have to look unprofessional by using pliers to drag paracord through your holes. Other than these minor points, your video has been very useful and reasonably well presented. I have added a few modifications to your basic design making it more useful.

It's handy to make a stack of cardboard to put inside, so that it keeps its shape. ... You can make one a little deeper by making a King Cobra spine. ... You could finish the ends by leaving them longer, and tucking them into the inside strands of the Cobra. ... Good job! : )

Thanks, that sounds great :D

tanalee09 using cardboard is also helpful for making a paracord wallet too.

You can link multiple cobra patterned units together. I show it in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9JGV9Q-tHNU.html

It is not in the description, you have everything except the amount of cord.... You have the finish size and you have the links but you do not say how much cord you start with with the original cobra knot
@UniformWarrior
@UniformWarrior 7 лет назад
+JudoJewelry Sorry about that. For cobra stitches it will be about 1ft of cord for every inch. It varies depending on how tight you weave it, but that is the best guide I have found.

I think you should change level of difficulty to Easy and not Hard, cause even a beginner can to it.... I will admitt I'm no stranger Paracord, but as I was once... It was easy for me to make bracelets in that style once I saw the tutorial of it... I even got bracelets made in 2 tone colors of the called cobra stitch a.k.a basic knot stitch... The rest is a matter of cord length based on the size and model of your phone and nothing more.... Too Easy...😎💕💓💞💖🧡💚💛💙💜❤‍🔥💯❣.....👍👍👍👍👍.....
