I would love to see it when you do make it. Lovely to hear you are teaching her. It’s not difficult, and she might enjoy all the pretty fabrics too. ❤️
I just used off cuts for the squares, and unfortunately, I don't have the name of the other fabric now. It was from my stash which I had had for quite a while. Sorry I can't be of more help with this one.
The black I used, I tested for color fast. It was fine. Test a small piece first, then if it loses dye, wash it all before cutting. Pleased to hear you liked it!
If you are referring to the border fabric - it was some that I had in my stash, but I will see if I can find out if it's still available anywhere. I will have to search, as I don't have the border information. The squares were just a selection from children's fabrics. Glad to hear you liked it!
@@sewsmartwithelizabeth286 I was particularly interested in the various animal pictures. I was hoping they might be in a collection (ie in 10" squares or fat quarters)
@@cateysue184 The animal squares I have cut from children's fabrics that I use for eye-spy quilts. I had them left over. Any fabrics I have left over I usually cut up into 6 1/2" squares, as they are so useful. Are you having difficulty finding suitable fabrics?
