Great work indeed. I love your vids. However, you'd better think of making some AC stepper motors and induction motors if you're looking for real strength and high torque. The vibration that is clearly audible tell something about the balance and durability of this motor. Good luck bro.

Поражает смелость таких гениев, прислать оцинкованные болты к оценкованной гайке и потом начать скругять все это на токарнике, заклеить все это скотчем который сплавится при нагреве (а он будет от 12в)когда можно взять термоусадку, и прислать все это на секундный клей который при нагреве выделяет цианакрилатный газ (кстати ядовитый) так что сдохнуть можно ещё на этапе пайки якоря (ведь контакты присраны этим клеем), в общем я в лёгком ах..., но работает крутяк)

You can just fit it by it's shaft in a drill's chuck, and press it against some sandpaper, a file, or a grinding stone or sg like that while it's rotating.

Wrapping it with copper wire howd you get so many loose wires in the end? Do they all have to connect or can you use different strips of wire?

My little advice for you. Instead of wrapping tape around the bolts, dip the soldered bolts in super glue 3 to 4 times and your work will be more mature. If my advice is wrong, please let me know.

quality is insane for a diy project. but obviously you need a better enclosure. try sheet metal in the worst case. They use die punch with thick steel sheets in small motors like 555/775/895/997 or cast Aluminium / Iron on bigger motors, the bigger the enclosure, the more vibrations it can absorb. You can manage vibrations by placing silicone/rubber/elastic material on the fixture. This is great to see a self made motor function so good, i live on an island and even the smallest item you buy online costs a lot to import while salary is low as hell. Looking for ways to recycle available materials here and build cheap but strong/accurate devices.

Would have been better to take the threads off the bolts with lathe. Kapton tape would have been better, in case of over heating. Expect the CA glue to crack, yes it hard, but also means it is brittle, it often cracks with a few weeks, and since a motor creates vibration, it it is like to crack sooner. Epoxy with 10% graphite powder w/w is twice as strong a steel for the same weight. Also heating and pushing out a hole in the PVC cap to a funnel shape would also better support the bearing.

@@kayfac6133 He wants him to not call this a DIY (Do It Yourself), a DIY is something which you could easily do at home with the utilities that most homes should have or could also vary depending on the field the DIY is going. In this case however it is to be expected that some kind of machines could be used but the following videa showed heavy machines which probably only 1-2% of the viewers have. I wouldn't call this a DIY. It's better to call this video something similar to a Tutorial or just leave it as "Constructing a self made motor at home". The person which you commented on meant to point this out but couldn't specify it enough for you to understand, I hope I clarified it for you. Have a nice day.

@@bleyzerplayz to be honest, you don't actually need the lathe. And stick welding is so common, if you can't access that, advanced electric DIYs are out.
