How to Make a Professional Thread Color Chart for your Embroidery Business 

Thank you so much for this. I tried doing a color chart myself a month ago and got so frustrated. This gave me just what I needed to figure out how to actually do one!!!!! ❤️

Great tutorial, thanks! As for labels, I would use abbreviations, like dk gray and you can adjust the leading (the vertical space between words) to make them closer. 😀

I love the method you use! I have canva and dreaded the process. I would try to use the files you get from the wholesaler. This allows for so much better tweaking! Effortless! Didn't know you could drag and drop!

Hi what a good number of thread to keep stocked in shop? Bundles go from 20, 40, 60 and up to 120. What is a good amount to start with.

Im following your video and working in canva but am stumped on grabbing the thread image and getting it in the element. HELP:)

I did something like this with the yarn colors I use for baby sets. I used Microsoft Word and it doesn't look as nice as yours

It might be simpler to abbreviate the color names…like: Dark = Dk, Black = Blk, White = Wht, etc. 🧐

Unsolicited advice but get you a clipboard to use when you have to take numbers or info down so you don’t have to keep doing back and forth.

Wouldn't it be easier to just label each one by the color number? Then you don't have to futz with names. I'm sure you know all the numbers by heart anyway.

Can you do this with basic canva
