🤣🤣🤣 i’ve watched so many of these zoom meeting videos. this woman is super meticulous and knows what she talking bout! I stumbled across this video and I’m super impressed. I’m about to have my girlfriends zoom presentation on lock. you killed it 💪🏾
Hi Iman - wonderful video! I need your help - when entering my office (starting left and going clock-wise) a blank wall w/ Ethernet port, a wall with sliding patio doors, a wall with a large window, a wall taken up by a large closet with *mirrored* doors. I can't figure out the optimal desk orientation here! Desk facing blank wall = really poor lighting, Desk facing patio doors = mirror + room door behind me, wall with window = far from Ethernet port (and again, door behind me so a family member can't pop their head in to let me know of something urgent while I'm on a Zoom call). I would love your recommendation here!!
What difference does it make whether the desk is against a wall and not sitting in the middle of the room? I don't quite get it? For instance, we have no idea if this lady is currently having her own setup right next to a wall or in the middle of the room.
Could you make a video about achieving this with challenging room layouts? Big south facing windows, windows across from closets, weird shapes, not enough room to bring desk away from wall
Great video and you’ve saved me a lot of time. I really liked the tip of measuring my webcam area. That’ll help me buy the perfect size art piece from my favorite artist. Thanks for your suggestions 🙏
Gotta work with what you have - I'm a designer so I'd recommend even something simple rather than a green screen you have to take in and out all the time. Maybe look at the orientation of your room and see what you can do. Good luck!
I love the white curved office chair you picked, beautiful! Do you have recommendations for beautiful office chairs that are also ergonomic? Thank you, love your style❤
What do you think of poster art / paintings or framed art work behind you. The types of art showcased would be important to show taste yet, refined because you don't want to put anything up that is juvenile or too trendy.
I work in Healthcare and recently had a Zoom interview. I chose to sit in front of my chimney because it represents warmth and peace. For chairs.. im a really petite person, so i can never find a comfortable chair that i can sit where it will not show. But thanks for the chair tips.
I have a huge setup with 2 large monitors and a laptop. What is the best way to set that up without seeing the back of my setup for those entering the office. While at the same time having a great background for those video calls.
Wow this channel is underrated. I am a freelancer and an agency owner having to take on clients all the time. You saved me a lot of time. Hats off to you Iman :)
My zoom background setup is very simple. I recreated the subway set of the original Matrix, hired Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving, get them to dress up as Neo and Agent Smith costume, have both of them constantly fight one another in the background set for my entire zoom conference call. Very simple basic stuff.
