Making mine tomorrow for Thanksgiving ! Picked up a huge cinderella pumpkin today...makes me feel better knowing the cacti can live beyond our guilty pleasure !

the replies to your excellent video are misinformed. You might have added that no succulents were harmed in any way in the making of this video. The arrangement lasts for months, the succulents root in and when the pumpkin rots eventually, you pop the succulents into soil and they continue to grow.
I know you left this comment years ago but i am just seeing it now. I thought that succulents take forever to put roots out so why do you say they won't have chance to live? I watched a person use tiny succulents and hot glue gun to a cork with moss on it for place settings. She said they can plant them if they wanted. Anywho...i have not worked with them so maybe i don't know what i am talking about.
