This is the program in the video. I did some modifications (added ClrHome to make the screen a little bit less messy) But otherwise it should be the same thing. Someone put a Pythagorean program on my TI-83 Plus for me years ago, but it got deleted somehow. Now that I'm taking trig, I've really been missing it. Thank you so much!

Work in progress. A bit slow going, this is only my second program, my first being a Matrix (movie-type) program. Learning as I go. Will comment again after finishing the program.

This is very handy. My only problem, and I'm sure it's the limitations of the calculator, is that the value for the leg length tends to be a little different (a tenth or so) than the value would be if I used the trigonometric functions. So I suppose, long story short, be careful if you want to use this in Trigonometry class.

i get an ERR Argument it takes me to the second portion where is starts MENU ("FIND?",,LEG",2,"HYPOTENUSE",3,"EXIT",4) and the error is on the final ) after the 4....not sure what to do and I need this tomorrow.

prgm, then go to exec(execute) and last go to your program and press enter

Your result for the hypothenuse at 8:36 is not the same as mine, yours is 10.81665383 and mine is 9.327379053. Why is this?

You didn't teach me how to make the theorem... you showed me the language... now I'm off to write in annoying long equations like surface area and volume that should be easier

Check all of your Lbl s and Goto s and make sure the numbers are correct. Otherwise please tell me what kind of error (Ex. Syntax) and if it give you an option to "go to " the error. No worries, we will figure this out :D
