Every year I buy a box of bags and cut them and put them back in the box. I give them out to people on the streets. Sometimes it is with a few cans of pop top foods, sometimes to protect from rain, sometimes as a layer in the cold. Always worth doing. Also look on how to do with with a head cover. Appreciate the video.

I always have garbage bags in my truck, but don't always have a raincoat.

That is an Arizona Raincoat, Every school kid from the 1970s on knows what and Arizona Raincoat is... You wen a little overboard on it, Vertical cut in center for the head and 2 slits in the side for the arms.

The rain comes unexpectedly sometimes and I had to keep working in the rain and this was all I had.

I do the same thing..as I live in south florida. Same bag technique but I also put on a fog grooming vest on top to secure the bag in and the I put a hoodie on as well......because I'm a baby when I get wet

I can see that rain would get in through the neck hole so maybe a rain hat of some sort on top would finish the garment for rain. Your design would be valuable to keep wind out and warmth in though.
