I never tire of watching your videos! I've been tote gardening for 3 seasons and I learned EVERYTHING from your videos. Last fall I installed visqueen to half of my screened in porch. It worked SO super that I've added MORE totes, buckets, & pots this fall. I never buy veggies or greens. I grow them year around now in zone 6a. THANKS, Robbie & Gary, for your fast, easy, & cheap way of eating healthy.

Fantastic! This truly is my best and favorite garden! As soon as I finish this video today, I grabbed the tomatoes some greens from here, walking onions, garlic chives, and I’m baking it as a casserole topped and cheese. This garden goes all year for me.❤

You inspired me in 2020 to start my chair garden. 😊 I've had success & fails, but kept going until this past year. I had Carpal Tunnel surgery and am just now feeling & doing better with my mobilities. (Doing My own PT!) So, I haven't felt like doing much in my totes until now. All of them are overran with weeds & saint augustine grass (runners & tap roots). Do you have any suggestions Robbie and Gary to help get rid of all those weeds & grass? They're even underneath all of my chairs. 😮 Thanks in advance for your time and consideration for my needs. 😊

St Augustine it tough, just keep pulling it out, or maybe start some of the totes over again

Just a note to let you know that I got a cat watering deal. Oh my gosh! What a great gift. The bird are crazy for it, and so am I. I have it by a window and have as much joy as the birds. Since I have trees in my yard, I chose to use the filter. I washed it off with hot water only and it kept the water fresh. This was the best idea, and the best $16 frogskins I ever spent.❤

I love this. The chairs looks so cute. Is there a purpose for them? Or is it just for aesthetics?
@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy День назад
There’s a purpose, I don’t have to bend, it keeps the roots out of my containers from trees, it keeps gophers out of my containers, it keeps many squirrels and other rodents out of my containers, keeps rabbits out, it works fantastic and that is why I came up with chair gardens many years ago 😊❤️

Thanks Robbie, enjoyed the gardening talk. It’s looking like all the plants made it through the hot summer. We’re experiencing another heat wave in Tucson. I watered early and will check the gardens again when it cools off. (108 today) The chickens know how to keep cool. 😂They hop into my moist 15 gallon containers and smoosh some of the plants. I don’t care as long as they’re happy. 🌵🐓🐥🌶️🥦🐾Zoe🐾🐈😬🐍😘

I live in AZ too. Wondering how your garden flourishes in this heat. Do you have a covered patio? Would love to start growing some veggies in containers but I have no shade.
@BarbaraC02
@BarbaraC02 День назад
@@c.catlover4080 Shade is mandatory in Tucson for sure. I have several large mesquite trees, large pomegranates and I’m experimenting with African Sumac. I purchased 30+ 15 gallon heavy nursery pots online to grow in. They hold up well in our extreme temperatures. Search RU-vid for Arizona garden tips for excellent ideas and tips to grow vegetables. Melons handle the heat and direct sun if you keep them well watered. Good luck 🌵🌷🐓🍉

@@c.catlover4080 Have a thought… my hubby offered to make me several more wire tunnels (like Gary made for Robbie.) They can be covered with shade cloth and if anchored well will hold up well with our strong wind gusts. I have one I grow grapes on and it looks nice and has worked well for 3 years.

I never tire of watching your videos. I learn something every time I watch. I built a chair garden in 2020 right after I watched your video. I live in the Sonoran desert in southern Arizona it’s zone 9b and the totes just made sense and were so affordable. The chairs and the some of the totes were free. They were already here when I bought my house in 2017, all I had to do was set them up and fill them up. Currently I’m now trying to make my own bird garden with fountains and feeders. The irrigation tubing, totes, and tulle have saved me time and money. Now I’m been looking for a stool like the red one in your videos but I can’t find one. Please let me know where you got it I’ve been using a garden kneeler but those stools look so much better. Thanks for all inspiration and keep those videos coming ❤❤
@pollytiks3885
@pollytiks3885 День назад
I especially appreciate the totes on chairs as I get older and can’t kneel down to garden. And the set up is so affordable and easy! I bought a stool on wheels (like for auto shops and beauty salons) so I can easily scoot around. Now if the weather would just cooperate - it was 117 yesterday in Phoenix Arizona! 🥵 Thanks for the tours and talking over your plans for the spaces - I get so many good ideas!
