I love this idea. I have been looking for a bed for my reborns and almost spent 50 dollars on one alone. I am a crafting nut so I now have something to make in the new year. Would love to see more reborn projects if you ever make any.
Thanks for that awesome idea. I actually have two reborns being made at the time. I was going to get them each a baby bouncer but now I'm thinking of making one of these. It would save a lot of space. And even if I do get them the baby bouncers, I might make one of these anyway because it's so cute :)

It was 2 1/4 yards of fabric, which wrapped around the whole basket. I just picked what size basket I wanted and then brought it over to the fabric department and picked out the fabric I wanted and wrapped it around the basket. And that's how much I told her to cut. I hope that helps :)
Thanks! Yeah we were in the same situation, I'm glad this helped though! I actually need another bed myself lol We will def try to post some more craft projects if we can think of any. In our next weeks video we are actually going to giving away a bed and we will do another bed video of how we made it. We cut out a few steps/supplys this time.
It depends on what size basket you get. But the basket I used was needed about 2 1/4 yards of fabric. The easiest way to know how much you are going to need is to go pick out a clothes basket and then bring it over to the fabric section and wrap the fabric all the way around the basket and have them cut it! Lol Thats what I did. :)

I don't have a toddler so I don't know. My longest baby is like 20 something inches and she fits in it with room to spare. But when you go supply shopping you can measure the basket to see if it is long enough to fit your toddler. I'm sure it would fit a toddler though as long as they weren't all spread out lol Hope that helps! :)
If you don't wanna buy the fabric you can just cover it with a baby blanket or a sheet :) Or even a towel. Just be as creative as you want. You don't have to do it the way I did. I just made it to give you an idea of how to do it. Hope that helps! :)
You can get them off of ebay or you can contact a reborn artist to get one custom made. I usually recommend ebay for your first baby :) Search around and see what you can find, you'll find a baby that's perfect for you!
Yep exactly :) This is just how we chose to do it. It just to help show you the basic idea of how its made. But you can totally take it and put your own twist on it.
When I saw your two bed tutorials I just HAD to subscribe! Your videos are so awesome and I will definitly do this! I am not going to use velcro though. I prefer your second video idea. Mostly because I can't find ANY velcro in ANY craft store in ANY isle! XD Classic me!
I have a micro preemie reborn, I made her bed out of an old box... (yea this sounds kinda bad) but it was a 24 pack of beer (they were in bottles) it was the only box I could find and it's very sturdy... I took that, an old sheet and I stuffed it in an old pillow case and I put that in the bottom of the box and then I took this blanket that I don't use anymore, it's white and fuzzy on one side and very soft and so I put that side up and I tucked all the sides in so it's not so loose, but on the outside I have alot of blanket exposed cause I have it draped down... it's actually kinda pretty and its stuff that I just had around the house, so if some of y'all are tight on money, yall can just do that... but btw I love this video, your babies are cute and this is very creative

I was looking for a place for my new reborn and made a little clothes basket bed also but yours is much more nicer then mine lol. i'm gonna have to redo mine using your technique :)
